      I purchased a **** ***** ******* from Kash's Cars on July 13th, 2022. When I test drove the vehicle it was running a bit rough and the check engine light was on. The salesman told me it was old gas and the check engine light was on because someone who test drove it before me pressed the ECO DRIVE button and caused the engine light to come on. He said he would clear the check engine light code before pick up. I purchased this car for my son to drive back and forth to college. My son and his mom picked up the vehicle that Saturday because I had to work that day. He called me almost immediately and said the check engine light was on and it was running rough. He got only to Dayton and it shut down. I had it towed to a local garage and after checking the problem they said the timing chain had failed. They suggested it would need a whole new engine due to internal damage. The estimate to replace engine was $8700. I contacted Kash's Cars at that point and got a response that there was nothing they could do for me, as it was sold as-is. I feel the dealer has a responsibility to back the cars they are selling as at least road worthy, but they use it as an excuse to sell junk cars and take advantage of consumers with their as-is policy. I am seeking reimbursement for the purchase price of $4500 for this vehicle as it now undriveable and will be scrapped.

      This dealership sold me a used 2003 Chevy Trailblazer without disclosing that the frame of the car is completely rusted out and has been deemed undrivable and unsafe by 4 separate automotive businesses in the local area in the last three weeks since my purchase of the vehicle. I have tried to ask Kash's Car for a refund or a swap of a different car, but they refuse to help. My son,whom the car is for, is 20 and is now needing to rent a vehicle to drive to his college internship as a result. "As Is " should not include a vehicle that does not meet reasonable expectations of even a used car. Hoping for some resolution from the owners of Kash's Car Lot LTD.
