STATE OF WASHINGTON v. TRADESMEN INTERNATIONAL, LLC 22-2-07592-4
In July 2022, Tradesmen International LLC signed a consent decree to avoid a lawsuit by the Washington State Office of Attorney General, Bob Ferguson, in the Pierce County Superior Court.  Under the terms of the consent decree, Tradesmen International must inform workers it has employed since Jan. 1, 2020 — the date Washington’s law banning non-compete agreements went into effect — that its non-compete agreements are no longer enforceable and it cannot require them in the future. Former workers who are still subject to non-compete agreements will also receive notification that the non-compete agreements are no longer valid.  Moreover, Tradesmen will pay $287,100, which the Attorney General’s Office will use for restitution.

Anyone employed by Tradesmen in Washington since Jan. 1, 2020 can contact the Attorney General’s Office to determine their eligibility for restitution. Please email [email protected] no later than Oct. 15, 2022.

My complaint is with Tradesmen International. I took a OSHA 10 certification test, almost a year ago with this company and pasted the test, but the company is refusing to send me certification... I've been call and getting the run around so much now, I know names of the people I'm calling, first it was ******, that would tell me she'll have some call me, then it was ****, and now it's ********* *****, ************... Mr. *****, today sent me picture of my certification, instead of asking me for my address to send the physical copy of my certification I honestly don't understand why this unprofessional experience with them is going this far... Mr *****, called to yell at me because I mentioned contacting the BBB. I don't know any other way to hold ********* ***** and TRADESMEN INTERNATIONAL, accountable for there lack of professionalism and unpatriotic action towards a citizen they took money from.

Tradesmen International is not recommended: One, Tradesmen staff did not show up multiple times while others showed up on jobsite who were not approved. Second, Tradesmen staff were instructed to send their timesheets to the foreman, which they did not comply but expected payment without verified timesheets. Third, there are better and cheaper staff agencies than Tradesmen International. This company is not recommended.
