Wouldn't help me stop payments to my account. Account is in the negative and nearly $150 is from them alone and they refuse to help saying there is nothing they can do. Absolutely trash bank company.

I been with peoples bank in cambridge ohio for 7 years never had a issue until someone hacked my account. I went through the fraud department and even went in the bank myself to handle my business. They were nothing but unprofessional laughing at me because I had no idea what was going on cause they locked my account and then come to find out someone use mobile deposit to put money In my account which I don't know how to do. I did the signing of my name and my name didn't match up with the writing on these checks. I went through this for 3 days and they were nothing but rude calling my fiancee a pig him being heavy set and was nothing but rude with my daughter who was trying to help me. Fast forward 3 days of all this they took my social security which is what I live on and they even admitted to me that they know it wasn't me but they are taking my check and that they don't care if its all I live on and to borrow money to live this month. They are so rude and the lady told me they are giving me my check and that they will be calling me back up there once it's released but they waited until closing to call me and tell me they aren't releasing my check and they are taking it for the overdraft that I didn't even cause.

I bank at the Peoples Bank Flatwoods WV branch, it used to be ******* Bank. I have had nothing but trouble out of this bunch the overdraft fees are crippling. I cannot get anything accomplished over the phone; it's always you must come in for that. ******* Bank was so much better to deal with.

As a seasoned real estate professional, I have never had a bank that lied as much as Peoples Bank (********). It took 77 days for their mortgage department to ultimately ruin what should've been an easy close. Scheduled closing was 10/15 and on 11/19, we were told it would no longer close. The loan officer and her boss were not upfront and were borderline criminal during this entire process. I will never send a client to them for a loan and am writing this review because it was a terrible process for the buyer, seller and all Realtors involved and I do not want anyone to suffer the way the buyer and our seller are.

I had a checking account with ******* **** and LOVED IT but whe PEOPLES took over forget it they charge you OVERDRAFT FEES before you can deposit money the same day, what a RIP-OFF. NO OTHER BANK I have EVER did business with has done this. No wonder they make money $35.00 a piece for your auto withdrawals on payday before your check posts.
