I hired Ken Strahler Masonry, Inc. to perform the work referenced by the previous review. For several years and up until her death, I was the attorney-in-fact for the owner of the subject property, *** ** pursuant to a validly executed Power of Attorney. I am also the Executor of her estate. Unfortunately, *** *. suffered from dementia for several years prior to her death and as a result, I assisted her with the management of her affairs, including real property that she owned. In January 2022, I entered into a purchase and sale agreement with an entity for the sale of the subject property, as the funds realized from that sale were necessary for *** *** ongoing care and expenses. In connection with the transaction, the purchaser of the property and I jointly hired Ken Strahler Masonry, Inc. to perform an asbestos audit of the property. Ken Strahler Masonry, Inc performed the audit timely, professionally and in complete satisfaction of myself and the purchaser of the property. The previous reviewer indicated that he owned the subject property, which if false. When Ken Strahler Masonry, Inc. state that the previous reviewer neither owned the property nor hired Ken Strahler Masonry, Inc. that was correct. The previous reviewer was not Ken Strahler Masonry, Inc.'s customer, I was. The previous reviewer's second statement is also false. As mentioned herein, *** *. had dementia and was incompetent and incapable of handling her affairs for quite some time. The previous reviewer neither owned nor lived in the property with Ms. R's permission. As *** *** attorney-in-fact, it was my obligation and duty to care for the property. I had standing to enter into agreements related to the property on *** *** behalf. The previous reviewer had no authority to act or speak on behalf of *** *. Ken Strahler Masonry, Inc. is skilled in their trade and just in their dealings. I recommend their company to all who read this review.
