I had my roof replaced and they removed chimney from above to below the roofing material and did not cap it. In fall when heater started kicking on the ceiling was getting wet so I called and they came out and put some patching around vent pipe. I called them back out and did not show up until this past April 2021. The bedroom ceiling was removed and roof had a large slit in it to see clear outside through it. I had to call Service Masters in January and it was all molded and roof sheeting and trusses were saturated - I was told I would need to replace all ceilings upstairs and insulation because it is all soaked with water from leaks and condensation. My roofing material is from Beeney, it has 35 year warranty, guarantees his work. When roofing material was installed, they did not seal off chimney on the inside causing all the water damages. Grandfather still owns Beeney. His grandson who is taking over the business was here last Thursday 3/3/22 and said he would fix entire roof. Before that can be done, the other work must be completed. ******* ************ looked at it was going to get someone to fix the chimney so it goes back up through roof and get the moisture issue fixed once and for all and the roof to be properly sealed up; grandson is going to be taking over the business from his grandfather; needs the chimney fixed and all the wood sheeting below before the shingles to be replaced; also need the ceilings, mold issues and insulation from the leaking damages internally repaired. All water saturated materials need to be replaced. A repair cost is being created to be submitted to Beeney's insurance to fix the damages. Then the roof will be replaced as well. Resolution: repair for the damages to be corrected, leaks, mold, water-saturation issues removed, chimney restored to prior external condition, new shingles replaced on the roof.

Beeney & Beeney Inc. installed a new roof for a customer, ***** ******* in April 2019. The old
roof was removed and new sheeting was installed on the front porch section, no issues were
found throughout the rest of the sheeting on the main portions of the roof. The customer
requested to have the block chimney removed below the roof line. We followed all normal
protocols to ensure the quality of removing the chimney, installing a new exhaust pipe at the top
of the existing exhaust pipe and sealing everything in at the roof line, while completing the roof.
The rest of the new roof installation went as normal with no unforeseen issues arising.
There was a minor roof leak in the fall of 2019, we immediately addressed the issue and fixed
      repairs needed.
In April 2021, we installed an attic port, which the house did not have and should have had
when the house was built. We stomped and painted the ceiling.
The manufacturer warranty on the roof shingles is 35 years. Beeney & Beeney Inc. follows the
state of Ohio guidelines for labor warranty of 12 months from completion of job.
The complaint from the customer of us not sealing the exhaust pipe inside the chimney causing
water damage was not of our doing. On January 9th, 2022, we went to Mr. ********* home in
regards to complaints of a roof leak. Upon arriving, we inspected the roof and found no issues
with the roof. We did find that Mr. ******* has a break lower in his existing exhaust pipe, which
is an internal home issue, not the roof or work of Beeney & Beeney Inc.. Therefore this break is
causing the moisture issue, not our work or materials.
On January 24th, 2022, my grandson went to Mr. ********* home in regards to another claim of
a roof leak. Upon inspecting, there was no roof leak. He then proceeded to tell my grandson that
he had received a check for $11,000.00, to have the issues repaired and wanted to know what
Beeney & Beeney Inc. was going to do. My grandson told him he could not give him an answer
at that moment, as we always discuss all jobs we do together. This is when we decided to get
our insurance company involved. Our business insurance and the home owner’s insurance
companies both adjusters arrived at the same conclusion, there are no issues with the roof, that
the moisture damage was caused by the internal break in his lower exhaust pipe.
Mr. ******* was mailed a form by our insurance agency to sign that would release a check to
them for repairs of the moisture damage, not the roof as there are no issues with the roof. Our
insurance company knows we did not touch the lower section of the exhaust pipe, but since we
had touched the top section of the exhaust pipe they were willing to pay for the moisture
My grandson, nor I, were at Mr. ********* home on 03/03/2022 as the customer stated. We
received numerous threatening calls and voicemails from Mr. ******* over the last 2 months
and at the direction of our business insurance, we were told not to communicate with them any
further. That all communication needs to be handled with Mr. ******* and the insurance
company. Mr. ******* was also told this by our insurance company.
