I keep receiving notices from mathews ford about denying me for poor credit. I am not trying to buy anything from them and I don’t know why they keep hitting my credit.

      To whom it may concern,

We received an internet credit application from her in December.  We processed it and tried to get her financed.  We have built in steps for compliance.  She is receiving these papers so we stay compliant with current financing laws.  She is not actively being sent to lenders and will not be unless she comes back in to start the process over.  Unfortunately these are steps that are required to stay compliant with laws.

      Thanks

9/26/23 I purchase a 2016 Chevy Impala from the Dealership listed above. I put $1500 down. I drove the car back to Columbus, made an appt got in on Oct 3 for full car inspection by Buyer Chevrolet because I noticed the back brake/rotors had noise and the car was shaking badly. the smell of burning oil, strut noise, bad exhaust smell, car shakes like it trying to cut off/hose is leaking something when the defrost, ac is on/ have video. Buyer Chevrolet found several problems with vehicle and provided an estimated which was $4,000 worth of work needed for this car. I didn't even have this car 6 days. The Upper Oil pan Gasket is leaking, Air Filter housing had stripped screws. Back brakes and rotors are eaten up and need replaced.2 taillight out. Got pics. No back head rest. left back tire slow leak. Buyer Chevy said That car was NOT serviced/inspected by Mathews Service department. There was no way this car should have been sold in this condition. I IMMEDITALY contacted sell person (Mark Warner) explained to him that I was having Problems with the car, had it inspected and 4000$ worth of work was needed. I wanted him to Put me in something else. Once he heard that, that when the blame game start . AWE India, well the car was running fine when you drove it off the lot. There nothing we can do. We been in business for 60 years", "We sold many of cars here, "I been selling cars for 20 yrs and so on. I'm like Mark, I'm a single mother I just put 1,500 dollar on car and financed this car for over$15,000 for 66 Month with an interest of $6,000 totaling about $21,000. I COULD HAVE STAYED IN COL IN BROUGHT A new CAR! I Didn't agree to buy a use car with all these issue. Credit Union said the dealership loan officer is only person who can re-do the loan. When I mention this to Mark his words were "We rarely ever do that! I had to take off my job twice so far drive 1hr up and back to dealership. THIS CAR IS Causing a FINANCIAL BURDEN WITH ALL THESE ISSUE. FIX IT!

In regards to Indian King's complaint.  She did purchase the vehicle from us after two separate visits to the dealership.  She drove the vehicle the first time and then came back to purchase the vehicle, in which she had no complaints on the operation of the vehicle.  She did call in about her taking it to another dealer and had it inspected and was told we would look at her concerns if she would bring it up.  We looked at her concerns and replace the rear brakes.  We also put die in the engine to tell where the leak was coming from.  It was also driven multi times and put several miles on it by our technician to make sure it performed as it should and it did.  This was all explained to her and she was fine when she left with the vehicle.

I went to ford complaining about my my car on how it takes offs at a slow pace when trying to accelerate between 0-40 mph and that I wanted them to check my transmission and for any recalls I was told I needed a left axle and a transmission flush I paid cash for the jobs to be completed once I receive my car I drove it along 30 west highway and felt like something weird feeling but I assumed my repair was the new feeling and I had to get back used to my car as time went my front passenger side begin to make noise hitting pot holes so I eventually took my car to a shop in Chicago they advise me to take it back to ford they seen a bolt wasn’t screwed back on asked did I have recently repairs and advise to take it back to ford and they wouldn’t perform any services because it would void any warranty I have with ford once I took it back to ford they said I had a cross threaded bolt on passenger front control arm and may need struts the very next day I took it to a different shop called Copperhead Garage in Marion they fixed my car and told me that my bolt was unscrewed causing bushing and another piece to come loose and rattle and they wouldn’t charge me for it also both shops told me it’s impossible for the bolt to just come loose unscrewed ford unscrewed my bolt and and didn’t bother to fix the problem they created looking for problems in my car that i wasn’t looking for I told them about my transmission but yet they seen I had another problem and caused more problems and my car still is acting up with the same problem they explanation is that low transmission fluid may have already caused my transmission damage before them repairing and that was my concern before any payments I wanted my transmission diagnosis they advised me the problem would be fixed once I get the transmission flushed and it’ll take care of the things that were wrong and clearly it hasn’t among other things
