              I rented an apartment at **** ***** Apartments (Metro Communities) in ********* ** from 2017 to 2023, during which time my monthly rent for an apartment that had never been renovated increased by several hundred dollars. I moved out by my June 30th deadline in 2023 and have moved to a new address. I've made several attempts to contact Deer Ridge management regarding my refundable security deposit, they were initially unhelpful but at this point have completely stopped responding. I have provided them my updated contact information multiple times and have not received any response or expected payment date from Deer Ridge for their outstanding debt of $350 (see 2021 and 2022 lease agreements, and email chain regarding my security deposit attached). I have requested an itemized breakdown for any refund amount less than the full security deposit. Please help me retrieve my security deposit from Deer Ridge. I am willing to file a police report or file a claim in small claims court as needed. Deer Ridge management regularly employs deceptive and predatory practices against their tenants and I can provide more information as necessary to support a poor business rating or legal action against Metro Communities. Thank you very much for your time and your help to hold Cincinnati businesses accountable for their actions.

              This place is a scam! We lived there for two years and now we are being charge money over our $600 deposit. This is criminal! We left that place cleaned then when I moved in! They are charging for scratches on kitchen appliances that are stainless( which I only cleaned with stainless cleaner). We moved in to used carpet and I lived there 2 years and they are charging a carpet cleaning fee! This carpet needs to be replaced not cleaned. This community said it was pet friendly but no one ever picked up the massive amounts of dog **** left- I actually picked up others due to me not wanting my dog to get sick! This place never did any kind of snow removal on sidewalks and more or less said tough luck! This community and how they practice is very shady! They are stealing peoples hard earned money for their own!! Shame on them!! Just disgusting!! Do not rent from Metro Communities!
