I hired Michelle M******, owner of Design Evolution Group, to provide design services. Contracts were signed October 6th, 2022. As of December 6th no design documentation of any kind was provided. Between October 6th and December 2nd there was one design meeting. Additional conversations took place regarding productivity due to my concerns that progress was not being made. On December 2nd I sent an email again addressing lack of productivity, laid out my scope and expectations again, and asked if this was a project Michelle was interested in continuing. Michelle replied and excused herself from continuing the project. Michelle was compensated in advance for 10 hrs of design effort to totaling $1500.00. Per our signed service agreement, weekly summaries of accomplishments were to be provided and were not. I have asked Michelle several times to provide these weekly summaries to justify 10 hours of compensation. Michelle has not responded.
