Robert Lombardi did a job for a neighbor in March 2023. He or his employees drove heavy equipment onto the edge of my property (across the street from where they were working) depressing the soil and causing pieces asphalt on the side of the road to crumble. I wrote to Robert Lombardi about it on April 16. He replied that he would hand tamp the soil and put seed down. I'm not sure whether he did that or not but given the extent of the damage, it did nothing to correct the problem. In addition to my message on April 16, I wrote to ask him several times (April 18, 19, 21) to restore the area with topsoil because it was pressed down so far. I did not receive any further messages and as of today, the yard has not been restored. I am asking for the business to repair the damage that they did to my property/

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I received the letter placed in my mailbox that two areas where the truck rolled over the property had been repaired. I sent an email to Robert to acknowledge and confirm the repair of the two areas. I also informed him that the main area of damage was not repaired. I emailed him a photo of the 25–30-foot rut where the driver of the truck rolled through the yard.  He denied that the damage was caused by his company, so I sent him a second message with a pdf file attached. The file showed still images of the truck going through the yard (attached). I did not receive a reply to that message.

This morning I sent another message to him because I think he might have stopped by to assess the property damage today after working in the neighborhood.  I realize that the BBB system feedback is a few days delayed so perhaps this might be resolved soon.

      Regards,
