On Tuesday April 23, 2024 at 8am I went in to Aspen Dental in Massillon Ohio. Before going in I did not need a root canal or a tooth extraction done and I did not have an infection in the root of my tooth or my gums. I went in for fillings. I only needed 3 at the point in time. I had the fillings done and left there, at around 12pm as the numbing medication wore off I noticed a lot of tooth pain that shouldn’t have been there and I didn’t have before I went in for the fillings. I went back in immediately that same day and the same dentist *** ****** seen me then and tried to gaslight me at first telling me he did nothing wrong then proceeded to tell me that he ACCIDENTALLY drilled into my tooth that didn’t need any work done to it, so he filled it and didn’t say anything to me at the time that it happened. I went back in today Friday April 26, 2024 because I am still in pain and haven’t eaten since Monday night. I can’t eat because of the pain* ** ***** seen me again today and told me that the filling he put in on Tuesday is missing and there was a break so he tried to fix it. I called ** ****** in ***** Ohio and got an emergency visit with him and he told me that there is now an infection in my gum, the filling was broken and that I now need to have my tooth extracted. It didn’t need to be pulled before I went into Aspen dental i only needed a filling. They let me walk out of the building today with a brown filling

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have not heard back from the dentist office or ** ***** himself at all. I feel that they should be the ones to pay for my dental work I now have to have done. I do not have dental insurance and I can’t afford to pay for the teeth that have to be pulled. I also feel I should be owed something for the pain and suffering I have endured since all of this started. I can not eat anything still. I cry daily because of the pain and it just doesn’t seem right to me that I should be the one paying for their mistakes!

      Regards,

      ******** *****
