The store is great, the pharmacy is awful, cant keep help . I didnt realize that the pharmacists make the rules on refilling medication. I use to get my medicine 2 days early , then next time the pharmacist said they go by pick up date. I called corporate office the head pharmacist said the two new pharmacist there at Grove city feel more comfortable doing it this way . It use to be the insurance company, now its the pharmacist telling you when you can get your medicine. Why have a Dr. they cant keep a pharmacist.

I went to the store on Portage st , i walked around found what wanted. Got to the register and was greeted. As i walked out the door beeped came back in the cashier took my bag and took out the pain medicine rubbed it up against something to deactivate the sensor. Went to leave again it happened again beeping (door) the manager ***** came running up in my face snatched the bag asked to look in my purse!! I said are you accusing me of stealing she said i just need to see inside your purse at the top!! I said no grabbed my bag left out came back to get my money back!! Because this store does not deserve my hard earned money!! Called ************** times and no results !!

Horrible personnel. Had issues with home health equipment, went to another company which was not local, had issues there and tried to go back to Hastings. Wanted to come back but some BS about billing not allowing me to come back. Talked with a supervisor who would get answers for me but never heard anything. Tried to write a letter, and never heard back. Know who suffers? It is my handicapped child who needs her health equipment. Discount Drug Mart is everywhere and you would think they would treat their customers, especially one who had been with them for several years, with better respect and care. Do not use them for your health equipment or supplies.

I have been going to this store for about 8 years for my prescriptions. I never really used the pharmacy drive-thru until recently. Yesterday I went to the pharmacy drive-thru at the discount drug Mart in ******* ****. My father and I ended up waiting about 15 to 20 minutes while the one person in front of us was still waiting on her prescription. We ended up having to go in because we didn't have time to wait any longer. The following day I had to return to pick up another prescription. Again, there was one person in front of us and after waiting again for 15 to 20 minutes we ended up having to go in. This time when I reached the pharmacy window inside I told the lady that we were waiting in line outside for about 20 minutes and we were wondering if this guy is actually in line waiting on his prescription to get filled because he is taking a long time. I said it very respectfully and not in an aggressive manner. Instead of resolving the matter she was very rude and slammed her hand down on the counter and said can I help you?, in a rude way. She got all my information and when she handed me my prescription she kind of threw it onto the counter as if she was aggravated. She must not have liked me speaking up about it. These drive-thru wait times are ridiculous. A drive-thru is there for quick service, not for people to sit there and wait on their prescription to get filled. They need to put a sign up that people should not sit in line waiting on their prescriptions to get filled so that other people whose prescriptions are ready can pick it up.
