      We purchased a 2023 Forest River Surveyor model #SVR260BHLE on July 28, 2023 from Avalon in ******, ****. One of the main reasons we bought a new camper was so we didnt have to worry about anything breaking or not working. Well, a couple months ago, our refrigerator/ freezer stopped working. Called the dealership and they gave us an appointment a couple weeks out. We cancelled a trip around the date so that we could get it fixed. Dropped it off at Avalon and it took them 2 weeks just to diagnose the issue (because they were so busy) and get the warranty had to get approved. We finally got tired of not having our camper so we just went and picked it up, still broke. Because we had other trips planned and didnt want to ruin any more family time. Side note: Let me tell you how annoying it is to have a nice, new camper, but have to revert back to coolers!!! Anyways, after some time passing by, we finally got a call that the part was in so we dropped it back off to Avalon. The supposive issue was the circuit board. The technician said that is the most common defect and Forest River is aware of ALL the issues with these units. We were not the first. So it took a couple more days but we picked it up right before our favorite planned trip! Finally, we were so happy that we had our camper refrigerator/freezer fixed and all the agony of the back and forth with Avalon/************ was in the past! We are here to say that all came to a screeching halt this past Saturday, the refrigerator/freezer stopped working. EVERYTHING WENT BAD!!!!! Probably close to $100 worth of food!!! We are upset to say the least. So much time was wasted on the phone, driving to the dealership, and rearranging our lives around some KNOWN ISSUES ! Not to mention money! Gas is NOT cheap and neither is FOOD! Are we going to get reimbursed for it, NO?!?! I want my fridge fixed or replaced without any more runaround!

      Yes, the customer did drop off on 6/11/24 in afternoon & he was told due to the volume of service work we do at this time, we were scheduled out about week to get his Surveyor into the shop. We then inspected the unit on 6/19/24 & sent our findings to warranty for Forest River's approval.
      The work was authorized by Forest River on 6/25/24 and the replacement part was ordered. Forest River only authorized the control board replacement for us to replace. At that point the customer picked the unit up on 6/26/24 so that he could enjoy his camper until the part came in for us to install. The customer dropped his unit back off on 7/12/24 and the part came in on 7/15/24. That part was then installed on 7/16/24 at 9:07am and tested. Everything seemed to be working just fine. The customer then picked unit back up on 7/17/24. On 7/20/24 the customer texted us at ****** stated the fridge was not working again.
      Our service team texted back on Monday 7/22/24 at 8:45am prior to opening & asked when the customer can drop his unit back off for us to take a look at.
      The customer is now bringing his unit back today, Wednesday 7/24/24 and our service team will be working to resolve the issue.
