On May 12th of 2022 I took my car into fix all automotive to have my clutch inspected. He called me back a couple days later **** the owner said it was only the linkage in my clutch and but my control arm on the right front so I needed to be replaced the bushings it would cost the same amount. I asked him was he sure the only thing wrong with my clutch was the linkage because I couldn't afford to get both of them fixed and right now the immediate problem was the clutch. He assured me that there would be no further issues with the clutch so I agreed to let him fix the control arm two weeks later I'm going down 75 my clutch pops out of gear just like before before I took it in to be inspected. Dead stops me almost on 75 I had to get the vehicle towed to my niece's house cuz it was the closest. I called the owners of the shop and explain the situation and asked him if there's any way in fact I went up there in person and talk to **** and ask him was there anyway that if I came up with another 500 would they at least pay the labor cost because I don't feel I got a fair job. He asked me when I would have my $500 and I told him on July 13th because I only get a social security check once a month. He said well he let me know if they'll do that before the 13th and if not I would be responsible for the whole thing and I said well if that is going to be the case which I didn't think was fair but I was willing to work with them if they would work with me would he take payments on the other $500 they would not and he's yet to call me reach out to me in any way I've called several several times spoke to the receptionist I spoke to somebody named Dave and he's always out he's not in I just wish that he could be man enough to reach out to me and respond to my questions. I've yet to hear from him I've not got a call back so therefore I figure he knows he's in the wrong and he doesn't want to speak to me and this is my only recourse action because I have no other action to take

**** *******, first called on May 9th, she asked if we did clutch work and she was told we do. She proceeded to have her 2009 Dodge Caliber towed in. The Technicians looked at her vehicle and realized the linkage was not connected to her vehicle. They connected the linkage and drove the vehicle several times. Clutch was fine but they did realize she had major safety issues on her vehicle.

They recommend she replace the front CV Axles, one lower control arm and both upper control arms. We agreed on a price of $1,000 even for all the parts and labor for those items. Clutch is still working fine. The work was completed on May 12,2022, we called her to notify her that work was completed and she could pick it up. She picked the vehicle up May 13,2022.

What I am showing is she called June 17,2022 and stated that her clutch quit working and she had the vehicle towed to a house close to the shop. When one of the Technicians were available and had time they went over to where the vehicle was located in someone's driveway. They checked to see if linkage had become disconnected again. It had not. Remember we could not evaluate the vehicle as normal, for it was not at our shop to jack up or get on the lift.

We priced a clutch and clutch slave cylinder and labor for a total of $1,263.44 before tax. This was a rough estimate because it would need taken apart to fully assess what the issue was.

We called her to let her know. She stated she only had $500.00 and would we consider a payment plan. We do not do payment plans on work performed. She did call several times to talk to *** directly, we have been extremely busy, *** could have been on test drives, working on a vehicle and not able to talk, or other personal and business items. She did come in to talk to us and she did talk directly to ***. *** stated he would try to help her but could not do the job for $500 and we do not take payments.

We understand she is on a fixed income. We realize it is difficult to be without a vehicle. We are a small business. We do not take payments on work that is performed and the vehicle leaves the premises. We did nothing wrong. We performed work as explained to her.
