On 3/19/22 I brought my 2020 Highlander in for multi point inspection with request to replace Air Filter. A week later my Highlander service light went on with notice " Maintenance Required Visit Your Dealer" in addition a few weeks later I went to open my glove compartment and found that my glove compartment was not fitted back correctly after air filter change. What it looked like was who ever did this so called job either did not know how to put this back correctly or just didn't care and figured no one will notice which seems to be an ongoing issue with this service department. The dealership is an hour away from wear I live and the hospital I work in so its very difficult to find time to drive back for on going issues they create with the subpar service. This is the dealership I purchased my Highlander from 2 years ago and hoping they would take good care of their customer was the reason for me returning for service there. My service on 3/19/22 cost me $362.83 for 30,000 mile inspection for not installing my glove compartment correctly and to obviously not properly maintaining my vehicle resulting in the service message I know have daily. Despite my numerous talks with service manager in the past regarding lack of service I continue to receive its been blatantly ignored. When I called to let service department know the issue I was having the young girl on the phone told me she did not know much about cars and will need to look up the reason I am receiving service message and its just most likely service did not reset it but she can tell my how to do this myself ? This is not only poor customer service this is negligence for customer safety.Business response
