Made an appt for Jan 5, 22 for my pets to get their annual vaccinations. Was quoted $200-$250 for BOTH pets to be taken care of. Day of appt, wife went as I had to work and was told this was the standard vaccination routine and what all it would entail. She was not told a cost breakdown just what the animals would be getting done. I specifically requested ONLY rabies and DHPP and that's what the $200-250 estimate was for. They played on her ignorance and anxiety of not knowing what they were doing and believing they were doing what I asked them to do in good faith. They instead added on what they consider to be part of an annual vaccination routinr, NONE of which I asked for and ended up charging my wife $558.06 I contacted the business same day and they said they would have the manager call me to discuss the details. It took said manager 3 days to contact me further proving my concerns weren't of importance to them considering they already got my money, once they did contact me all they could do was apologize and claim it was just a miscommunication, how the person who took the appointment only put yearly vaccinations in the notes and that my wife knew full well what they were doing. My wife would never have knowingly spent that much money because she knew it would put our bank account in the negative, which it did, but she knew she had to pay out of fear of them not releasing our animals or calling the police. They took full advantage of her and my trust to care for our animals and made it all about making a buck. They are a greedy, terrible vet and I want a refund for everything I did NOT want done. Especially considering several items were noncore vaccinations that neither pet needed.Customer response

I am reaching out to let you know that the business contacted me directly on 2-21-2022 to resolve this BBB complaint. We reached an agreement on a partial refund for most of the unwanted services. Have aigned a refund agreement and now just waitinf on check in the mail.
