I live in alabama dog was purchased via website and verbal from ohio breeder never disclosed damage to fur which i sent documentation of from vet visit and was told fur will not grow back, she had fleas, a cough, and possible genetic health issues. Dog color isnt what was discussed in text he said she is gray or lavender but dog is almost black and white or extremely dark brown. The puppy doesn't even look like the puppy he sent me a picture of. I tried to contact him when i got her and he didn't answer i even text, call, and sent an email no response until i filed a claim. The dog is listed as 8 weeks and 10 on different paper work and actually isn't gray or lavender but a dark almost black color. He told me she went to the vet and didn't provide documentation of this only a form for her to cross state line i called that vet and he told me he cleared the dog to travel only and that doesn't include a check up or anything only that she is healthy enough to travel. The dog does not look like the picture that he had on gis site 5starpuppies.net or that he sent via text. I spent $1800.00 to get this dog and he knew the dog was for my daughter who is 6. I had disclosed that my baby had saved all of a little over $50 the entire year to purchase herself a puppy and had given me the money upon which I purchased from ****r. He showed no remorse offered to replace the dog or refund her at my expense... which would cost me an Additional $1000.00 for a dog I never would have purchased. This dog is going to and does require extra care I have to take her to a dog dermatologist and each visit is $165 the dog has been in my care almost a month...I am very upset that a breeder can do this to anyone ESPECIALLY A CHILD. **** ****r ignored my calls, text, and email from myself and the vet my daughter is attached to this dog and the dog was NOT HEALTH and her fur will not grow back this is a havanese known for their long fur i can't show her breed or anything cuz of her conditionBusiness response

This is regarding the complaint filed by ******* ******* . We send current pictures and videos of the Havanese puppy that ****** purchased right before the puppy left which showed her exactly as she was delivered . ****** called us as soon as the puppy was delivered and she was very happy with the pup and asked if we had another similar pup available for a friend of hers . The puppy checked out good at our vets as well as hers . It wasn’t until after her vet mentioned a couple spots of thin hair that ******* became concerned and tried calling us on thanksgiving day . We were not open on thanksgiving day but called her back the next day to try and resolve any issues with her . The claims of not returning her phone calls are false . We have tried calling her many times to discuss and try and resolve but for some reason she will not answer her phone . We did text her and also eventually talked to a friend of hers and gave them several different options to which none satisfied her .
1. We have have offered her to bring the puppy back and pick a replacement puppy of her choice .
2. Return the puppy for a full refund
3. Keep the puppy and we will refund her $800 which is more than half the original price .
We have received nothing from her or her vets that even qualifies for a replacement or a refund per our contract agreement. However we have gone above and beyond to try and have this resolved but she is still not satisfied .Thanks ****
