      THE PART HE ORDERED WAS PULLED A WHILE AGO AND HIS TOW DRIVER REFUSED TO PICK IT UP WHEN HE CAME. WE THEN OFFERED TO DELIVER PART  TO HIS HOUSE SINCE HE DIDN'T HAVE A PICK UP TRUCK TO PICK IT UP FREE OF CHARGE. OUR DRIVER GOT SICK AND WAS IN THE HOSPITAL, HOWEVER HE IS OUT NOW AND I CAN SEND IT TO HIM TODAY OR TOMOROW. I WILL CALL HIM TO SET A TIME TO BRING THE PART TO HIS HOUSE.

      I am rejecting this response because: the time lapsed, rude company interactions, and not delivering item on the agreed upon date. I paid for a tow truck to pick up the item as the company informed me that the item was already in my vehicle. Now, the company is attempting to bait and switch by blaming the tow truck driver for not waiting for an item the company assured me was already in my vehicle.

      CUSTOMER DEMAND IS REJECTED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON :

      THE STORY STARTS WHEN THIS CUSTOMER WENT TO A BACK YARD MECHANIC TO CHECK HIS CAR OUT AND INFORMED HIM THAT HE NEEDED AN ENGINE CROSS-MEMBER [ ENGINE CRADLE ] = A HUGE PIECE OF SUSPENSION FRAME THAT HOLDS HIS ENGINE, TRANSMISSION AND ALL HIS SUSPENSSION PARTS.

      THE CUSTOMER THEN CALLED OUR SALVAGE YARD TO PURCHASE THE PART WHICH  WE BOTH AGREED TO SELL HIM THE PART FOR $250.00

      ONCE PART WAS READY FOR PICK UP WE INFORMED HIM OF THAT SO HE CAN COME AND PICK IT UP.

      HE THEN TOLD US THAT HIS MECHANIC DOES NOT HAVE A RACK AND ASKED US IF WE CAN DO THE INSTALL FOR HIM, WE QOUTED HIM A PRICE OF $750.00 FOR LABOR TO INSTALL THE PART HE PURCHASED. HE AGREED TO OUR PRICE AND TOWED THE CAR TO US THE NEXT DAY.

      MY MECHANIC PUT HIS CAR ON THE RACK AND STARTED WORKING ON IT, AND 2 HOURS ONTO THE JOB MY MECHANIC CAME TO ME AND INFORMED ME THAT THE CUSTOMER'S VEHICLE FRAM IS RUSTED VERY BAD AND HE NEEDED TO REPLACE IT AND HIS CROSS-MEMBER WAS NOT REALY THAT BAD.

      WE THEN CALLED HIM AND INFORMED HIM THAT HE NEED TO GO TO A BODY SHOP TO REPLACE THE FRAME AND HE DID NOT NEED THE CRADLE.

      WE CHARGE $150.00 PER HOUR FOR LABOR AND AS A CURTOSEY WE WAIVED THE LABOR FEE ASSOCIATED WITH HIS CAR BECAUSE WE FELT SORRY FOR HIM GETTING HIS CAR DIAGNOSE BY A DUMM OR A CROOK MECHANIC WHO ADVISED HIM TO PURCHASE THE WRONG PART.

      IN GETTING HIS PART READY WE HAD TO DROP 2-ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS OUT OF 2-DIFFERENT CARS UNTIL WE GOT A GOOD PART TO SELL AND WE DON'T TAKE THESE PARTS BACK BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE A STORAGE WAREHOUSE PLUS WE CAN NOT RECOVER THE LABOR WE PAID TO OUR YARD MAN ONCE HE REMOVED THE PART.

      WE ACTUALLY LOST ON THIS DEAL BECAUSE WE PAID OUR YARD MAN TWICE TO PULL THE PART THAT HE DOES NOT NEED TWICE.

      HE ARGUED WITH US BECAUSE HE NEEDED TO GET A REFUND ON THE PART THAT HE ASKED US TO PULL AND WANTED TO PUNISH US FOR OUR HONESTY AND OUR PROFESSIONAL WORK. 

      HE THEN THREATENED US WITH HIS BROTHERS AND COUSINS AND OTHER FAMILLY MEMBER THAT HE WILL BRING THEM DOWN AND CAUSE DAMAGE.

      WE ASKED HIM TO JUST COME AND GET HIS CAR OUT OF OUR SHOP. HE SEND A TOW TRAUCK TO PICK UP THE CAR AND THE PART.

      WE GAVE THE DRIVER THE CAR BUT THE TOW DRIVER REFUSED TO PICK UP HIS PART.

      HIS PART WAS SO BIG THAT WOULD NOT FIT INSIDE THE CAR AND ONLY A PICK UP TRUCK OR A TOW TRUCK CAN GET IT.

      WHEN HE GOT HIS CAR BACK HE ARGUED ABOUT HIS PART NOT DELIVERED WITH HIS TOW DRIVER BUT WE EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THE DRIVER REFUSED TO LET US PUT IT ON THE TOW TRUCK BECAUSE HE HAS NO WAY TO UNLOAD IT BECAUSE ITS VERY HEAVY AND REQUIRES MORE THAN 2-MEN OR A BOBCAT OR FORKLIFT.

      TO REDUCE THE HEADACHE WITH THIS CUSTOMER WE AGREED TO DELIVER THE PART TO HIS ADDRESS AND SEND ONE MORE EMPLOYEE WITH OUR DRIVER TO GET THE PART TO HIM.

      THE NEXT DAY MY DRIVER STEVE TYSON WAS ADDMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL AND WAS RELEASED A WEEK LATER.

      AT THIS POINT I DON'T WANT TO DELIVER THE PART, HE NEEDS TO COME AND PICK IT UP FROM MY PLACE. THE PART WAS REMOVED FROM MORAINE AUTO TO RIVERSIDE AUTO TODAY . 

      I WILL GIVE HIM ONE WEEK TO COME AND PICK IT UP. IF PART IS NOT PICKED UP WITHEN A WEEK IT WILL BE DISPOSED.

      THIS WHOLE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY THE DUMM STUPPED MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED HIS CAR NAD CAUSED HIM TO BUY PART THAT HE DOES NOT NEED.

      HE NEED TO GO BACK TO THE SAME DUMM MECHANIS AND ASK HIM TO PAY HIM BACK $250.00 FOR THE PART HE RECOMENDED HIM TO PURCHASE FROM US

      I am rejecting this response because: The response shows how delusional the company is. I do not know how they perceive Black people, but I did not take the car to a "bootleg mechanic" as they stated. Muffler Brothers in Huber Heights ************0 (on Bradnt Pike), which is a reputable business, told me I needed an engine cradle due to rust. They are familiar with the vehicle and can verify my statements. When I called Moraine Auto Parts and Service to purchase the part, they said they could install it for $750.

      The company has changed their story in their new response, just read their initial response. Whoever has health problems in their company has nothing to do with me. The randomness, accusatory statements, and general rudeness of the company speaks for itself in their response. I am offended how they try to make me out as an aggressor who threatened them. 

      This has been going on since May. I do not even own the vehicle anymore. It was intended as a birthday gift for a girlfriend. Of course, her birthday has passed. I am a veteran and I have a doctoral degree and I do not like arguing with rude people who seem like substance abusers. They have made it personal by being so over-the-top. I want a refund of $250.

      IF MUFFLER BROTHER DID NOT MIS DIAGNOSE YOUR CAR, YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN BACK TO ASK FOR COMPENSATION OF YOUR TOW FEES AND YOU WOULD NOT HAVE SOLD YOUR CAR THE WAY IT IS DUE TO THE HIGH COST OF FRAME REPLACEMENT.

      I am rejecting this response because: I attached text communication with "****" who owns Moraine Auto Parts and Service. He acknowledged his responsibility in delivering the part. His text labeled as Monday is 6/24. This clearly shows how Moraine Auto Parts and Service failed to deliver the part for 2 weeks after they said  they would. His second text occurred after I filed with BBB and rejected their offer.

      Moraine Auto Parts is attempting to circumvent the law and behave as laws and rules do not apply to them. The responses from the company shows this repeated behavior as the company gave an ultimatum about picking the part up in days when that ignored my response time to BBB. I do not want any items from this company. I want my $250 refunded. 

      Moraine Auto Parts and Service said they could fix the vehicle. They did not. Moraine Auto Parts and Service said the item was inside the vehicle, so I paid a tow truck to pick the vehicle up. The part was not in the vehicle.  Moreover, the responses from Moraine Auto Parts and Service have been erratic, accusatory, and offensive. I am happy that the messages with Moraine Auto Parts and Service is public record and shows the unethical practices deployed by Moraine Auto Parts and Service.

      I purchased an engine from Moraine auto Parts, the engine was the wrong one. My mechanic (Super tech) sent a written message ,that I hand delivered to M,A. P. that was May 1st. They stated that they had the engine and would be delivering the engine the following Monday or Tuesday. Today's date is May 8th and they have yet to deliver the engine. The engine came with a 30 day warranty. This is the 3rd week since purchase and the warranty is about to expire. I would like a total refund of my money because i believe they won't produce the engine on time.(30 days) and then claim the warranty is valid. I paid cash(certified check) from my bank and would like a refund asap.

      Ordered this grille from Parts Of Moraine **** ********* *********** ** ***** ************ bought this grille on line it said it was A grade box came in a week or so and it was a cobbled together from a couple of pieces of cardboard opened it and the grille tab was broken because of improper grille removal and they sent it out broken knowing it was damaged contacted them immediately and they said to bad that I must of broke it said they wouldn't refund my money and told me to go F--K myself there totally unprofessional and I wish I had looked up the BBB and read reviews its obvious by reading several on the BBB site that this business is completely unprofessional BUYER BEWARE filed a complaint with American Express to get my money back still screwing around with this LYING company

      **** ******** who is the representative of D & D Body Shop is a liar and a con-artist. Never once did anyone at our place of business communicate in a disrespectful manner towards Mr. ********. This customer failed at defrauding my business and even the cc company found his statements to be untruthfull, so now his last resort is to try and lie about my business morals which I realy do not appreciate. If Mr. ******** from D & D Body SHop did look at our BBB rating he would find that our rating has been an A for the past several years as well. 

      On January 16, 2024, **** ******** from D & D Body Shop contacted us to purchase a used grill advertised on Car-Part.com. We provided him with the cost of the part and the shipping fee, which he willingly agreed to. Following this, we promptly sent him our credit card form, along with copies of our policy, regulations, and shipping rules.
      Mr. ******** completed the credit card authorization form and signed all accompanying documents without hesitation. Subsequently, we diligently proceeded to remove the part from our donor truck and arranged for shipping and handling. However, just two days after the part was shipped, Mr. ******** attempted to cancel the order, despite it being already en route.
      It became increasingly evident that Mr. ********'s intentions were far from genuine. First, he demanded a partial refund of $70, claiming he miraculously found a similar part locally after the shipment. When pressed for evidence of the alleged damage, he provided vague and inconclusive photographs, failing to substantiate his claims.
      Undeterred by his increasingly dubious behavior, we agreed to refund the $70 to expedite resolution, hoping to mitigate further conflict. Yet, Mr. ********'s demands escalated as he insisted on a full refund, citing unsubstantiated issues with the part. Despite our offer to refund upon return, he adamantly refused to return the part and instead requested a call tag for return shipping, a request we rightfully denied due to our clear policies.
      Despite Mr. ********'s subsequent attempt to dispute the transaction, our position was upheld, and the dispute was resolved in our favor. Undeterred, Mr. ******** is now escalating the matter by filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
      His actions reek of deceit and manipulation, as he now threatens to dispute the transaction while obstinately retaining possession of the part. Enclosed are copies of the signed credit card form, clearly stating non-refundable shipping fees, along with our regulations and invoice, which unequivocally demonstrate his disregard for our agreement.
      It is abundantly clear that Mr. ********'s conduct throughout this transaction has been nothing short of malicious and deceptive. His refusal to adhere to our terms, coupled with his attempts to coerce a refund under false pretenses, paints a damning picture of his character and intentions.

      Hello i am *** ****** owner of Meyers Auto LLC i do transmission work primarily I have a retired ladys 2014 Ford Focus here that needs a transmission replaced I bought one from Moraine auto in Moraine OH as a good used working transmission we installed it and did all necessary programming and car will not even move on its own the original tranny drove sorta ok we tried every thing we know and very obvious something wrong with it . We noticed clutch assembly on front of tranny is very rusty and was concerned knowing these parts need to work freely - I paid 1500.00 for tranny and 250.00 says non refundable freight charge total 1750.00 i have called them many time was told i will get call back and was accused one time i must not know what i am doing cause that tranny worked great i have been doing this kind of work for 40 years - I need them to send me a working tranny or money back

      so last friday February 25th 2022 I bought an engine off Moraine Auto Parts an Aluminum block 5.3 L33 for an agreed upon price of $750. i paid half which came out to be $325 as a holding method so they didnt end up selling the engine. I was planning on picking it up Tuesday since I'm in Columbus it's a bit of a drive. but they called me Thursday March 3rd 2022 and said they dropped it and cracked the block. now here's the messed up part instead of just giving me another one for the same price they decide they're gonna tell me I have to pay $1200 for a different one and the best they can do is give me 2 weeks to come up with the cash. now heres where i get annoyed. because it was not my fault or my accident I do t feel as though I should be the one paying g for their messup. I want the ssme engine i paid for at the price I paid for it. I will not settle for less. I am quite confused and kind of speechless a business would be run this way. I'm just a kid im 17 and trying to swap my car on a strict budget. I feel wronged and almost feel as though it was their plan all along to snip me out of my money. I honestly don't believe that they cracked the engine and even if they did WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!!!! I would like first and foremost the engine I paid for a 2005 cheverolet silverado 5.3 liter V8 Vin B Aluminum Block engine for $750. and if that doesn't happen I will seek other measures. this isn't fair and they know it.       I purchased a motor at this company and I purchased it December the 6th 2021 I paid $1,558.75 for the motor they let me know that it was going to take 2 days to pull the motor I called them back within 2 days they told me that it wasn't pulled yet I gave them a week after the week that I gave them I gave them three more days because they never called me and let me know my motor was ready within the 3 days after the week I called that's what make it the 15th of December and they let me know that the motor had been pulled I let them know that I was going to have my mechanic to pick it up with in the period of time that my mechanic was supposed to pick it up he did not pick it up because he knew if he picked up the motor then I was not going to be able to get my money back if he didn't need it so he never picked the motor up moraine auto parts told me that he picked the motor up and he was trying to bring it back for the money I asked the manager how could he pick a motor up without the receipt he didn't say not one word come to find out he never picked the motor up me and my mechanic go up to moraine auto parts to see if the motor was there come to find out they had resold my motor and he let me know that he would have me a motor in the next 2 weeks I told him that I did not want to do no more business with him I asked him could he refund me my money since the motor never left the shop him and his workers proceeded to be very rude and nasty and he let me know if I did not want the motor then I was not getting nothing he was not going to give me my money back after that I let him know that I will be taking him to court and calling the better Business bureau on him only thing I want is my money back I am a single mother with five kids that was trying to get my car fixed so I can get my children to doctor's appointment and back and forth to school I got swindled by moraine auto parts and I will gladly appreciate it if someone would help me with this matter.....

      ON 12/06/21 THE CUSTOMER PURCHASED A USED ENGINE FOR HER 2012 BUICK LACROSSE. WE PULLED THE ENGINE SAME WEEK AND CALLED HER TO COME AND PICK IT UP. SHE SAID SHE WILL HAVE HER MECHANIC PICK IT UP.
      THREE WEEKS LATER SHE CALLED AND ASKED IF HER MEHANIC PIKED UP THE ENGINE. I PUT HER ON HOLD TO CHECK AND PROCEEDED TO CHECK WITH OUR EMLPOYEE TO SEE IF ENGINE GOT PICKED UP, THE ENGINE WAS NOT IN THE PULLED BIN SECTION AND TOLD HER THAT HER MECHANIC PICKED UP THE ENGINE.
      APPROXEMATLY TWO MONTH LATER I GET A PHONE CALL FROM HER MECHANIC AND ASKED ME IF HE CAN TRADE HER ENGINE TOWARD ANOTHER CAR BECAUSE HE FIXED THE BUICK LACROSSE AND DID NOT NEED THE ENGINE ANYMORE BUT WOULD LIKE TO EXCHANGE IT FOR A DIFFERENT CAR ( 5.7L FOR 2005 CHRYSLER-300 ) I TOLD I WILL WORK WITH HIM ON TRADE MINUS RESTOCKING FEE ON THE RETURNED ENGINE. I CHECKED MY INVENTORY TO SEE IF I HAVE THAT 2ND ENGINE BUT WE DID NOT HAVE IT.
      I TOLD HIM YOU CAN BRING THE ENGINE BACK BUT THE LADY WHO PAID FOR IT MUST COME TO GET THE REFUND MINUS THE RESTOCKING FEES. I GOT SUSPECIOUS OF THE MECHANIC TRYING TO CHEAT HIS CUSTOMER OUT OF HER PART. THEREFORE I IMMEDIATLY CALLED THE CUSTOMER AND TOLD HER ABOUT THE COONVERSATION I HAD WITH HER MECHANIC. SHE WAS SURPRISED AND WAS NOT SURE WHY HE WOULD DO THAT AND THANKED ME FOR WARNNING HER AND SHE SAID SHE IS GOING TO CHECK ON IT.
      THAT SAME DAY IN THE EVENING AND AT CLOSING TIME SHE COMES IN WITH HER MECHANIC REQUESTING TO PICK UP THE ENGINE. I TOLD HER THE ENGINE GOT PICKED A WHILE AGO AND REMINDED HER OF THE PHONE CONVERSATION I HAD WITH HER BACKYARD MECHANIC AND MY SUSPECIOUS THAT HE WAS TRYING TO CHEAT HER OUT OF THE MOTOR AND RETURN IT BACK TO GET A DIFFERENT ENGINE. THE MECHANIC DENIED THAT HE CALLED ME AND ACTED LIKE HE WAS NOT THE ONE WHO CALLED. I ASKED HIM WHY WOULD YOU WAIT 2-MONTHS ON PICKING UP THE PART AND TIEING UP YOUR GARAGE. HE COULD NOT RESPOND. BECAUSE WE SELL A LOT OF ENGINES ON REGULAR DAILY BASIS AND BECAUSE OF THE DELAY OF 2-MONTHS LATER I TOOK A GOOD 40-MINUTES LOOKING THRU ALL MY SHELVES TO SEE IF INDEED THEY ARE TELLING THE TRUTH AND HAD 2-OF MY EMPLYEES LOOK WITH ME. WE COULD NOT FIND THE ENGINE. I CAME BACK AND TOLD HER THAT HER MECHANIC HAS HER ENGINE. AFTER A LENTHY ARGUMENT I FELT THAT I SHOULD GIVE HER ANOTHER ENGINE BECAUSE I KNEW SHE WAS SCAMMED BY HER MECHANIC WHO DENIED EVERYTHING. I OFFERED HER ANOTHER ENGINE AND TOLD HER TO COME BACK IN TWO BUSSINESS DAYS AND I WIILL PULL HER ANOTHER ENGINE I HAD ON A DIFFERENT CAR WITH LOWER MILES THAN THE FIRST ONE WE PULLED. SHE IMMEDIATLY WITH OUT ANY HESITATION REFUSED MY OFFER AND DEMANDED HER MONEY BACK INSTEAD. AT THIS POINT I RELIZED THAT I AM BEING SCAMMED BY BOTH OF THEM AND INSISTED ON GIVING HER A REPLACEMENT ENGINE ONLY. I TOLD HER WHEN YOU CAME YOU CLAIMED THAT YOUR CAR IS STILL NOT RUNNING AND YOU STILL NEED AN ENGINE BUT FOR NO REASON YOU DON'T WANT A FREE ENGINE TO REPLACE THE ONE THAT GOT PICKED UP BY YOUR MECHANIC. SHE DID NOT HAVE AN ANSWER AND SHE LEFT MY SHOP. FEW DAYS LATER I CALLED AND ASKED HER IF SHE WOULD LIKE ME TO PULL HER THE ENGINE BUT SHE SAID SHE DOES NOT NEED ONE NOW BUT NEED A REFUND. I THEN OFFREFED A REFUND MINUS THE RESTOCKING FEE THAT IS STAMPED ON THE BACK OF THE INVOICE. SHE ACCEPTED THE REFUND AND ASKED IF SHE CAN COME AND PICK UP THE CHECK. I TOLD HER I CAN SEND THE CHECK WITH MY SON THE NEXT DAY BECAUSE I WAS OFF THAT DAY DUE TO HEALTH ISSUES. SHE AGREED TO THAT AND ACCEPTED THE REFUND MINUS THE RESTOCKING FEE THAT NORMALLY APPLIED TO MOST RETURNS.
      SHE CALLED ME ON MY CELL LATER ON THE SAME DAY AND HAD ON A THREE WAY CALLING ANOTHER MAN ARGUING ABOUT THE RESTOCKING FEE. I LET THEM KNOW AGAIN THAT I FEEL I AM BEING SCHAMED BUT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM I OFFERED THEM AGAIN EITHER A REPLACEMENT ENGINE OR A PARTIAL REFUND. AND MY OFFER NOW IS THE SAME AS BEFORE WHICH IS A REPLACEMENT ENGINE OR A PARTIAL REFUND OF THE AMOUNT OF $857.33
      THIS IS WHAT SHE PAID MINUS 45% RESTOCKING FEE AS POSTED ON HER INVIOCE.
      I AM SORRY FOR NOT RESPONDING ONTIME BUT I HAVE BEEN OFF FOR 5-WEEKS DUE TO HEALTH ISSUES AND DID NOT GET MY MAIL PROPERLY.
