They put the parts on the wrong side of my car!’ I called ahead and told them I THOUGHT my wheel bearing and wheel hub were bad I just wasn’t sure which side! I asked them to check it out before to make sure it was the bad part! I told them if it needed something else they or I could get it. I picked my car up after Josh said it was fixed! He said it’s still making a noise but it’s your tires! When I got home I knew it wasn’t fixed so I contacted them the next day the owner told me to bring it back up! He took a look and said I bought bad parts and he wanted to replace all the new parts again! When I told him no start with the wheel bearing’s because I could afford $321 again he told me to come get my car. I had to take it to another shop. There are pictures of the bad wheel bearing from the new shop!

First off, we put bearing and axle on right side. What they wanted. Then we put bearing and axle on left side. Their parts and what they wanted again. As far as doing the wrong side, the right won't fit the left. Impossible!! We put their parts on both sides. She wanted us to fix it at no cost to her. I said I would remove her parts but she would have to pay labor. She went off. She said she was going to call a lawyer. That's when I told her to come get her car. As far as the noise? They have four snow tires on it.

She also complains we were charging her more this time than the last. She went off on both technicians. We had her find the first receipt, it was the same amount. We always do what the customer wants.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.
The business says they fixed both sides and was honoring a warranty on my parts! I have included pictures and dates showing where the passenger side was still broken when I picked it up from the shop! I have also included receipts showing where the parts were purchased after I picked my car up! I’m not a car mechanic and never claimed to be! When you call the shop a week ahead to discuss details then again the day I dropped it off! I spoke with Josh when I dropped it off and picked it up! He is the one that I asked them to double check everything before they put the parts on to make sure they were bad! I told him not to change anything that wasn’t broken! When I picked my car up he said he didn’t know if my axle was bad but they changed it! I told him to find out because I was mad they changed stuff that may not needed it! The front wheel hub and bearing are for either side! The wheel bearing and hub assembly was put on the driver side and all along it was the passenger side! I asked them to check it out before replacing anything and they didn’t! They slapped the parts on according to the owner! His mechanic is 60 years old so according to them that gives him an excuse to not do his job properly! I also asked them to keep my parts because they were all under warranty! They gave me a duralast axle and I had brought a steel craft! I’m putting my car back in the shop because there is something wrong with the side they supposedly fixed! I am also waiting for a written statement from the shop I took it to after I picked it up from brown county automotive! They are well known for doing shotty work and ripping ppl off! I’ve included proof of that as well! The only time I actually felt with the owner was when I picked my car up and he was pissed because I wouldn’t pay them to tear apart the driver side again when it was never bad! He said yep one of the parts you put on is still making a noise! I told him to start with the wheel hub and we would go from there! The more I thought about it why would his mechanic put it all back together call and tell me it’s fixed when it was clearly not fixed. I told the owner I shouldn’t have to pay to have him pull it apart he should’ve never put it back together knowing it’s still making noises! What was supposed to be a few hundred dollar fix has now turned into over a grand! I had to buy another hub assembly and wheel bearing because he put them on the driver side when it was the passenger side that was broke! I’m only asking to for the shop to be held responsible for not doing a diagnostic after being asked to! Instead they put the parts on the side that was good and now there are problems with it!!
      Regards,
