I went through telehealth to Quest Recovery to get help with my recovery journey. I had issues getting to intake because my son was hospitalized. When I finally get to the lab…saw someone I was not happy with knowing my personal life so I left and was gonna go back the next day: The next day the lab wouldn’t take me because it was half hour before closing(I had just got out of work). Next day I took the day off to do lab work and went in the morning…was told need appt at the lab so I made appt. Went to appt the next day to find out they didn’t have any paperwork. Had to take another day off to make another appt to find out they sent my paperwork to a lab other than the one they told me to go to. Eventually, they sent Intake blood and urine screen to where I was. As soon as they get my urine screen they drop me…because….shocker….i wasn’t completely clean. I thought I actually found somewhere that was going to help me too. Sadly they are not here for our recovery. There is no recovery place in the world that would have the nerve to call themselves a recovery place and claim to want to help but then drop you when your first screen is positive. I have adhd and told them I was self medicating because I couldn’t get help when on suboxone. No dr will touch that. They told me that they would help me find an adhd dr. But apparently it wasn’t fine. Because that was the main reason they let me go. But told me it was my decision making. Oh…you mean the decision making skills of someone who needs help recovering?? I could have faked the urine screen…im on a mission to find a recovery place that will help with this process. Not just suggest other places because they don’t want to do the work. There has to be some recovery place that is not just out here using their skills where the moneys at ..but actually cares about this mission. But I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that this place is not Quest recovery!
