Additional Information for A1 Concrete Finishing

State of Ohio v. Ronald Randy Slusher DBA A1 Concrete Finishing
The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved.  We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven.

On July 15, 2019, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office filed a civil lawsuit in Licking County, Ohio, Common Pleas Court against defendant Ronald Randall Slusher doing business as A1 Concrete Finishing. Charges filed allege the business is in violation of state consumer protection laws including the Consumer Sales Practices Act and the Home Solicitation Sales Act.
According the lawsuit, the defendant allegedly engaged in the business of providing goods and services to consumers, including concrete repair and installation. The defendant allegedly failed to deliver some of those goods, and refused to refund consumer deposits or payments; and started but failed to complete some work, and provided some shoddy and substandard home repair services and failed to correct the services, and failed to provide consumers with notice of their right to cancel transactions within three business days.

The state is asking that the court to order the defendant to pay damages to consumers and civil penalties of up to $25,000 for each violation.

The matter is pending before the court.
