- Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 2pm to Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 7pm - $1,776.30 Vet bill for a puppy surgery - The business committed to providing a safe kennel area for our puppy and with great care, but failed to do that - The nature of dispute is that the puppy was not taken well care of and needed immediately vet care and surgery after boarding her at PAWS Dog Grooming. - We, the owners of the puppy, are trying to resolve this issue We are filing a complaint for the following reasons: 1) Thursday, March 3, 2022: I asked by text if the business owners had a safe place for our puppy and they said they had a safe place. 2) The puppy was happy and healthy when we dropped her off on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 2:30pm. She was playing with our other two dogs and was eating her food and weight 3.8lbs and was (is) up-to-date on all needed vaccines. 3) Tuesday, March 9, 2022 we received a text from **** ***** (Owner of business) that our puppy was going in and out of the doggie door. On Thursday, March 10, 2022, **** informed me that all dogs loved their treats and asked how much I wanted off the puppy for grooming purposes. 4) One of the days **** also promised us that a camera was on our puppy to watch her more closely, but I asked ***, other owner, if the camera was on her the whole time and she said “no, as they had other dogs to watch”. 5) It was not until Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 7pm that we found our puppy in critical condition and *** ***** informed us that she gave our puppy chicken broth to help her eat her food and she wasn’t eating any of her treats. *** NEVER asked permission to give our dog chicken broth and NEVER once texted us that our puppy wasn’t eating her food like she should and looked ill. We thought our puppy was eating treats and food daily. 6) Our puppy needed immediate surgery and vet care as her sugar was 35 and needed to be 80-120
