I recently had a new propane tank installed on my property and I asked the installers not to drive their truck through my front yard because I had drain tile and their truck would crush it. I was told they could and would use a skid steer to move the tank through my yard and this information was comfirmed by the installers boss and made clear to them. For some reason they chose not to use the skid steer and when they drove their truck through the yard they cracked my down spout drain tile and my sump pump discharge tile, that caused my basement to flood and burn my sump pumps up because of all the water. I had the pumps replaced ($1,000) out of my pocket because of the age. I asked them to replace the tile they cracked. It's a bill of $470.00. they told me because of past customers that have taken advantage of them they would be willing to give me $200.00 towards the repairs and I said that's greatly appreciated but it doesn't make it right. I have been a loyal customer since 2015 and would of expected them to make it right. I am not even addressing the ruts left in the yard that they also said they would fix and never did.

**** ********* moved into the house in Oct. 2021 and we switched out the tanks Jan. 6th 2022 because the house tank was almost empty. I never brought up a skid steer, as your statement says, and he never mentioned tiles in the yard to us. He was concerned about the yard and we did move back the original appt. a couple of times because of weather. After the install he did send me pictures of the yard and I informed him that we would have to wait till spring and seed his yard. He was not home at the time of the installation; however, his father was there. On Jan. 6th he sent me a text message stating the tanks look good and he had great customer service. It was the end of March that his basement flooded and he had Long’s out to tell him that his pipe broke. It is not tile, but the PVC pipe that is hooked up to his gutters that carry the water away. I went out to talk with him In April and, he told me he had a buddy that would snake the pipe to see where it was broke, he never did. A couple of weeks later he is asking me if we are going to pay to fix it but would not provide any information. That is when I went to ***** and we were going to give him a $200.00 credit on his account. He was not happy, I told him that there is no way of us knowing that PVC was buried there unless the homeowner provides that info. He said he didn’t know it was there. I left the conversation with a mutual understanding that the matter was closed. On Friday, May 27th he dropped the estimate off at the office and informed the office staff that he is not taking the $200.00 credit and wants us to pay $470.50 for repairs. I called him on Tues. June 7th and told him we could not do that. He stated that he wanted the tanks picked up with a skid steer while he was there and the only day to do that was Sunday. I told him that is not going to happen on a Sunday and that we would use the tank carrier to get them out. He hung up the phone on me. Our office called to inform him we will be out on Monday June 20th to pick up the tanks.
