Ill give him one star because he did come out to give me an estimate. Aside from that it was bad experience. It may be somewhat my fault because all the waning signs were there.1) He showed up to give a roofing quote without a ladder. I had to provide him with a ladder.2) He said he was a member of the BBB, which turns out, he is not. 3) He said he Hires these Mexicans that do a really good job. To me, this came off kind of racist (I really dont care what nationality workers are) but also makes me wonder if these are his employees or is he just a middleman who subs work out?4) I sent a text (which I still have) asking for some sort of a contract and he never responded. I even offered to go to his place of business to sign it. 5) The day he was supposed to start the job he called and said my shingle choice was out of stock but hopefully he could get them in the next couple of days. After a week or two with no contact, I went to the place where contractors go to get their supplies to confirm his story. It was true that they were currently out of stock in ********** but the shingles were in stock at another location and could be transferred in a couple of days. I chose this contractor because he was recommended by a couple of co-workers and he promised me an early September start date. It is now the end of September and my roof is not started. He broke his promise so in my opinion this is not someone you can trust.
