      Contacted ******************************* for kitchen countertop on 3/19/2023- present. Also, included having floor done later. Collected $3250.00 for flooring materials from LL Flooring that were later found never ordered and attempted to collect $3867.00 for countertop that was claimed to be ordered through ********* Granite that was never ordered. Asked for full refund of the $3250.00 and only received partial refund. Work never done.

      While it is with great sadness that we must have a complaint filed against us, it is with the up most respect to our customers past, present and future that we be honest and transparent with them. 

      On about April 13 of 2023, we were contacted to give an estimate for kitchen countertop replacements. During this visit it was discussed to have new flooring laid in kitchen, entry, and dining area. upon investigation and further inspect it was decide to have a Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring laid over the Ceramic tile floor. In accordance to the standard practices of the manufacturer. On 6/12/23 customer had picked flooring  to be used in said job, at this time customer signed a check for $3,250.00 for the ordering of materials and time on job. On 6/13/23 Materials were ordered from ll flooring and placed into my account information. materials are said to be half special order and half in stick materials. On the first week of July we had messaged customer for confirmation of weekend job, dated July 7,8,9 while customer was said to be away from home. During this time we had still not received payment for the ordering of the granite countertops, therefore they were not ordered at this time. With these messages came expectation of deposit for granite, as well as half of the labor upon arriving for the said work to begin.

      Customer then proceeded to say she spoke to a friend and is uncomfortable with laying over tile, and started to make conversation to back out of agreement. Customer is said to have contacted LL Flooring in reference to material ordered, as per state law such company cannot divulge such information to nonauthorized representatives of such company. she then proceeded to treat me as hostile or taking advantage of her. ******** had then followed through with her frustration and threatened her husband in his position as law enforcement. I then reminded her that the materials were order and her money was used for its intended purposes, she kept demanding that I give her a full refund. 

      I had instructed her that I would do what I can but that store policy does not allow refunds on special ordered materials and that she may either have to accept the materials at home as discussed or that she may have to take a hit on the refund because of such items not being returnable. After discussion with manager, he was able to make an exception and waive the penalties for the said customer, at this time i was then able to issue a check from my business for an amount of $3,000.00. After the time spent on this job from the business running around, gathering and ordering materials, coordinating all efforts the said customer was then charged a $250.00 fee that was taken from the already deposited monies, Leaving the customer with a refund amount of the $3,000.00 

       

      We are very sad to say that a customer has not had a great experience with us, however while we continue to grow and learn just what it is our customers need. We will continue to strive for excellence in both quality of work and customer satisfaction. We regret that this customer has had such difficulties, if you cannot trust your contractor to do the right things it becomes extremely difficult to achieve any level of quality or completion of jobs.
