We signed up for driving instruction for my daughter. They run a pay before they can put you on a long waiting list. So we signed up and paid the amount, only to not hear from them until today. Well I didn’t want to wait that long and we went through another school like 4 months ago. They finally called on February 19 2023, 5 months after the fact. I told them my daughter has been driving since October. They offered no apologies, refund or partial refund. I think this is a horrible way to run a business.Business response

Review of the phone log does show that the customer was informed when signing his daughter up that there would be an extended wait of approximately 12-13 weeks before her BTW would begin. The welcome letter that was sent via email, as well as the contract that was signed and submitted by both parent and student clearly stating that No Refund would be made to any student as long as Myers Driving School, Ltd is able to fulfill its part of the agreement and complete all training within 6-months of the signed contract date. We do our best to quote wait times as accurately as possible, but all times quoted are an estimate and can vary especially in the winter months. There was no attempt made by the customer to contact our office after the student registered to voice any concerns and we were not aware until an instructor called the student on February 20, 2023 to schedule her driving lessons that there was a problem and that the student had already completed her training elsewhere. While we will be sending out a refund to the customer, it is important for all to understand that a problem can not be addressed or solved if the consumer does not take the time to contact a company and make them aware of their dissatisfaction until after the fact.
