In 2020, approximately 11 months ago, I gave Fudge’s Finishes $2400 to hold a spot on his schedule to paint interior rooms of my house. This was about a 50% down payment. In these past 11 months, I had to contact Fudge monthly to see when he might start my project. In this time he has put me off each month, promising he would come, but not ever showing up to begin the project. After 11 months of excuses as to why he could not make it each month, “I’m too busy with other projects,” I’ve requested return of my down payment for services not rendered. Fudge has told me he does not have money available to return my down payment. I am now getting excuses as to why he can’t pay me, just like he gave me excuses as to why he can’t start my project. That money should have been saved and put toward my project because that is what was explained to me…it was to buy the materials he needed any hold a spot for my project on his schedule.Business response

On regards to the complaint from ****** ********…. On Dec 13th I paid $1300 towards the refund and on Dec 21st I paid $1062.50 which will have completed the total amount due of the refund. I did have a hard time finding help throughout the the year of 2021 and that did put me extremely behind schedule due do a lot of my jobs being some what larger and took me longer to complete. Some of the jobs went longer due to waiting on some materials to arrive to proceed on a few of them. It was a struggling year and I did apologize to *** ******** for the inconvenience.**** *********Fudge Finishes
