We signed a contract with Ohio Doors and Closets on July 7, 2021, to replace all interior closet and room doors for our house, in addition to a new fire-rated door between our home and garage. We paid 50% of the total project cost at that time. Installation day was November 11, 2021. At the time, one closet door (entry foyer) was found to have been mis-measured (by them). We were assured that a new door would be made and would take about a month to arrive. We paid the other 50% of the cost (we opted to pay in full, expecting them to hold up their end of the contract). After more than a month had passed with no word, I sent an email requesting a status update. ODC replied that the door was “in production” and Gino, ODC’s owner, would inquire with the factory and get back to us with an update. We have not heard from ODC since. On January 17, 2022 we sent an additional email requesting an update, and also reporting some small fit issues on the doors already installed. We heard nothing and re-sent the email on January 24. Still no response. I called and left a message on January 29 and stopped by the showroom (January 29–no one was present). Today I called again (both phone numbers) and got the answering machine. It’s now been nearly 3 months and we still have no closet door in our entry foyer.
