We had Spisak’s Outdoor Creations install a poured concrete patio and retaining wall in early August 2021. At first we had some minor issues with their employees leaving their empty cans and lunch wrappers in the yard at the end of each day but happily cleaned up after them since we were seeing progress on the patio. After they delivered and graded the fill dirt, we found all kinds of garbage and broken glass mixed in with the dirt. This was a serious problem as we have two dogs. Again, cleaned up after the employees to ensure nobody cut a foot or paw. Once the patio was finished and a sealant was applied, we noticed a 5 foot circle on the concrete that was significantly darker than the rest of the patio. About two months after the patio was finished, we noticed a significant crack formed all the way across the center of the patio. Multiple phone calls and text messages to the owner have been made every week and we have not received a single response. We fear with the size of the crack that has already formed that winter will only make the situation even worse.
