I bought a 2017 Ford Fiesta from DC Motors in late May of 2023. The car has been acting funny. Misfiring, not starting and saying it has engine malfunctions since August. I’ve been taking it to get repairs, paying for an oil change, a tune up, thinking it’s used and maybe the previous owner didn’t pay much attention to preventative maintenance, nothing was working. I got a diagnostic done and the auto shop discovered 2 censors are not functioning properly. Another $1000 to get both of those fixed. I also then discovered that the mechanics at the dealership replaced everything under the hood of the car with used junk yard parts, including the engine. Everything has part numbers written on it, literally nothing is original. They stripped the car for parts, replaced them with old torn down ones, breaking the censors in the process because they put it in incorrectly, and have me under contract to pay off the car for 13,000 dollars. I haven’t even had the car 6 months yet and it’s unsafe and not even able to be driven. They showed the car fax to me as it being clear with nothing on it. Said it only had one owner and promised it’d be very reliable with no major work needed during the entire 3 year contract. They never mentioned the car fax were only clear because they completely replaced the motor. They sold me a lemon. They completely robbed me and they are refusing to do anything to help. Every time I speak with them, it’s a different person and they keep telling me everyone I ask for from the original sale is no longer with the company. They just keep taking messages and saying they are giving them to their general manager, but I never hear back and they won’t even tell me the managers name. They are scam artists.
