Tree removal was expertly done with exceptional clean up. Do not use this company to chip tree limbs. The employee left a 60-foot circle of large chips that required three days for me to clean up. Much of the brush was left without chipping. He raced back to the house to collect his fee, then sped away before I could check the sire.

Unprofessional and unhinged. I live in Kentucky but own a home in Sandusky. He left voice mail with a quote. He stated that we can communicate with text only. Then he said I had to pay him upfront and he felt uncomfortable doing business with me because I was out of town. I offered to give him a deposit even though I thought he was being paranoid. I asked him If the quote included stump removal. He said he stated that when we discussed the terms ( actually we didn't discuss anything, he left message) he mentioned the details and was I slow in the head? Then he said he was going to pass on my request for service because he felt like I was trying to beat him by not paying. I told him he didn't need to insult me. I wasn't trying to scam anyone. I solicited him because I needed a tree cut. I did call his voice mail to voice my displeasure in what he was implying about me. He then texted and then called me with a whole of screaming and cursing at me with all of the colorful and racist rhetoric towards me and then threatened to go over to the property and wait for me to beat my ass. Dude is unstable. I began reading reviews from Google, Facebook, Yelp and realized this is his modus operandi.

I wish I could post what this so called tree specialist did to a 100' tree in my neighborhood on Kelleys Island. Huge limbs were severed in half in order to provide better Internet services for the paying customer. What was left of the tree is a butchered eyesore for island neighbors to view. I was told the severed barrel-sized limbs that remain will no longer produce leaves and will eventually rot and fall. One of the those limbs will hit my property when it drops.
Being a customer myself of Ohio Tree & Excavating, I decided to text owner, *****, and share my dissatisfaction. ***** texted back saying he has no liability, but he would be willing to stop out and talk to me about it. I agreed and said he needs to see what his company had done. I said leaving the tree as is would be irresponsible and not worth damaging his reputation as a tree specialist. Apparently, this incensed ***** because he immediately called my home and commenced to violently screaming at me. He then hung up on me and sent a belligerent text informing me that I am one of four bad eggs on the island and he didn't want to hear from me again. Further, he said he would call the police if I texted him back!
I was left absolutely shaken. I see from a previous complaint on here as well as on the Kelleys Island web page that ***** can be a real hothead with customers.
