    Additional business information

    Additional Info:
If you are considering having a new furnace installed or need repairs on your existing furnace, get at least two estimates for the work. All bids should be in writing and should provide a full description of the services to be provided and the materials to be used. Compare more that just cost. Check the size and rated efficiency of the equipment each contractor recommends. Ask each contractor how they arrived at recommending a particular sized system.

Check the warranty offered and make certain you understand it. Ask friends, neighbors and colleagues for recommendations, and check out any company being considered with the BBB.

Do not hesitate to contact your utility company and ask for a serviceman to come and inspect your system. If you think you may be in physical danger, leave your home until the system is fully checked out.

If you are told that your furnace needs to be replaced because it is too small, think back to the last time it failed to properly heat your house. When purchasing a furnace, you should choose a unit large enough to handle the demands of your household. Do not waste money on a furnace that is larger than you need.

10/28/22 I had furnace inspector **** ****** from A-1 inspect my furnace due to smelling electrical burning and smoke and fire dept recommendation to hire hvac. **** said my furnace exchanger was cracked and omitting carbon dioxide and red tagged the furnace. He said due to a metal shortage he recommends replacing the furnace instead of the exchanger. After finding a burnt outlet in an adjacent room I requested they come back out and turn my furnace on and instead of doing that he brought his camera and phone with pictures showing me the cracks that could have been anyones and said we need to replace. On 11/14 I had ****** ************* out to inspect so they could replace. ************* opened up my furnace and showed me small scratches from a camera being inserted into furnace. It was in great condition with color and rings that were still in place. ************* also connected their electrical checker that showed the carbon dioxide level the furnace emitted was extremely low and my furnace is operating at 82% efficiency. My furnace is now turned back on without any repairs needed! I went 2 weeks and 3 days with no heat and 2 sick kids due to **** ****** and his lies! I had to purchase electrical heaters that barely helped. I would like to request that my $120 fee be refunded due to the trouble I went through with this company or I will file a lawsuit.

Had my duct work cleaned, and found out my plenum under the furnace and under my garage floor was all rotted and needed replaced. Having a 28 year old furnace, this was not an option for me, instead, I decided to replace the furnace, and a/c as well. I called a total of 6 companies out to provide an estimate. The last company, should have been my first company to call. ***** from A1 Heating came out and spend the necessary time to explain EVERYTHING to me, and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable in all aspects of the heating and cooling of my home. They received the job, and were out to install the job in only 2 weeks. There was no rush on my part. Between ***** monitoring the job, and the guys that were out to do the install, they were all AMAZING! The work crew did an OUTSTANDING job with EVERYTHING!!!!!! If you are in need of ANY heating or a/c work, be it a repair or complete replacement, be sure to check them out! I will be referring them to everyone I know that needs a service like theirs. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!!
