When cutting down a tree in my yard they drove over my side walk without putting boards down. This resulted in my side walk being ruined. I have tried to reach out to them to get this taken care of and the owner simple won't call me back. I then asked for their insurance information so I could file a claim they said they would email it to me and now they don't answer their phones.

Tree in my back yard was cut down and remove, this occurred on April 22 and 23. Double gates and fence poles were damaged. Contacted company week of May 13th. Several messages left on answering machine. Spoke with some one in office on Tuesday 14th and was told they would get back with me. Left 2 to 3 messages every day of the rest of week... Friday night at 6:30 and explained the problem and *************** up on me, attempted to call back and he kept hanging up. Finally call went to answering machine. Called on Sunday May 19th and again spoke with gentleman and again repeated my problem and he said they are really busy and would get back with me when they slow down..

Lake Erie Tree Service removed the tree on the property in late April and upon leaving the property left with the fence and gate in working condition. No contact was made for 2 weeks. Fence was not damaged by Lake Erie Tree Service.

Lake Erie Tree Service removed a tree from our property last summer, then returned to grind out the *****. They failed to cover/protect the air conditioning units that were 10 feet away. During the grinding process, chips flew and one made a hole in the air conditioner condenser, causing a $1600 repair. We were without air conditioning while parts were ordered. Despite repeated efforts to negotiate a settlement with the Lake Erie Tree Service owners, they failed to engage. They said they would discuss and get back to us and they never did. They must have business insurance to cover damage to property, but they offered no solution or remedy.

We were hired to remove the ***** by a third party. The job was complete and payment made. We were not contacted until multiple months later, stating that the a/c unit was damaged. We have removed many stumps near a/c units and have never had an issue in the past. If all screens and guards were properly in place on the a/c unit there is absolutely no way that a piece of wood would be able to penetrate the condenser as they are claiming. Lake Erie Tree Service is not responsible for the alleged damage.

Paid 1700 dollars for a tree removal and stump grinding, I was given no scheduling when they would perform service. When service was done I received a brief phone call saying so. I then promptly after work went to there office and paid. Got home found the stump being a hazard and sticking out of the ground, my electric dog fence snipped and disconnected. I asked for the wood to be left in my yard and the decided to take all the good wood and leave me with 3 ton knotted piece I could not handle and a bunch of rotted and dead wood. I have since then visited them and told them to come back to fix what they have done and received no communication back.

Unfortunately, due to the uncertainties of the industry we work in, we are unable to schedule any jobs and work on a day-to-day basis. Customers are made aware of this when they approve the estimate and work to be done. Customer called multiple times asking when we were doing the job, so on the next available day we sent a crew out to get the job done. We do multiple jobs per day and this customer happened to be the 3rd job of the day. When we showed up, we already had logs from previous jobs loaded on our trucks. We left the wood from the customers job as they had requested. We do not offer processing the wood down as this would require more time and money. We told the customer we would come regrind the stump as sometimes there are pieces that get missed, and this has been completed. The terms and conditions in our contract specifically state that “Lake Erie Tree Service is not responsible for damage to underground sprinklers, drain lines and tiles, invisible fences or underground cables unless the system(s) are adequately and accurately mapped by the customer and a copy is presented before or at the time the work is performed.” This map could have been presented when customer accepted the work. The customer was made aware that we could come back and pick up the wood that he did not want, but as this would cost us more time, he would be charged an additional fee. Customer has not made contact since.
