On Wednesday, June 15th, AT&T fiber optics came out to mark lines in my neighbors yard. At the time of their entrance, it seemed they were unaware my neighbors had a gate that opened on both sides of their home. Due to this unawareness, one of the workers hopped the fence causing damage to my fence property. At the time of the occurrence, pictures were taken to show damage of the fence. In addition, communication was made with the lead of the crew to inform him of the damage that had been done to my property. None of the crew members took responsibility even though one of them was physically seen jumping the fence and causing damage. Originally, the lead of the crew said that he would buy materials to fix the fence up and would return in about an hour to complete the job. He returned a hour later only to advise that his supervisor wanted to contact me about the damage. I provided the lead crew worker with my name and phone number as he had already copied down my address. I have yet to hear anything back from the workers nor the supervisor. Lead of crew Member: Floyd Supervisor: Amy Boss

My front lawn (**** **** *** ***, Columbus Ohio 43231) and extending into my neighbor's front lawn(at ****) has extensive damage that needed repair as a result of the **** cable laying that occurred in late fall. The area is about 10 feet by 25 feet. The whole area is very uneven, rough, with depressions and chunks of sod that was never laid down. A complete mess. That area needs to have topsoil added, leveled, and seeded with grass seed. There are also two test holes that the cable crew drilled that were not filled in completely. One of them was 2 feet deep after the dirt settled, creating a hazard for everyone walking by with their dogs. The hole was only 2 feet from the street. For safety reasons, I had to buy 6 bags of topsoil to fill these in immediately so that someone walking by wouldn't break their legs, or worse. I expect to be reimbursed for this cost, around $15. I sent this complaint to ***** ******* SR SPECIALIST-BUSINESS MGMT **** Technology Operations, Midwest C&E ***** forwarded this to *** **** Area Manager Thayer Power & Communication, LLC ***[email protected] The problem has not been resolved and *** has NOT responded to my last 2 emails.

We have reimbured the 15 for the material he purchased.

He did send information regarding his yard in March.  We reached out to the HOA on the entire development that due to the large amoutns of rain we were recieving that it would need to dry out before restoration in the neighborhood could be touched up.

We went back to the property and talked to the homeowner regarding his concerns.  We went over options for yard restoral.  Mr. ******* first said he would like more dirt and reseeded.  Then he requested additional grading and reseeding.  We asked for clarification on which he would like and we did address concerns of affecting water run off if we just added more dirt the way it was.  He then responded to an email that he did not want the contractor back on site to do the repairs, claiming he was not qualified enough to do the work.  I responded reassuring him that the workers were qualified to do the work.  He responded stating he did not want us to do any work on his property that he would send us a bill for landscapers.  I have since turned this matter over to **** which is who hired us to do the work and they are working directly with Mr. ******* to work out the best solution to his problems.

Her foreman and workers are not qualified to do the restoration as shown on the last 3 times he was here.

Trip one) Last fall He dug up the holes and left a mess.  The entire neighborhood (two different Homeowner associons complained).  He left a 2 foot deep hole in my front yard next to the street (tripping hazzard).  He also left stacks of sod laying on top of the grass (shoddy work).   And the ground was left uneven.

Trip two) He came out in April tried to fix the issues, he didn't level the ground, he only threw some ground mulch mixed with grass seed over the area.  If he were qualified to do the work, he would know that ground mulch is NOT top soil!  No grass seed grew.  Mulch inhibits growth.  Wronh move on his part.

Trip Three) he came out with his boss and kept saying what he couldn't do.  He couldn't cut down the high mounds of dirt to fill in the low spots, he couldn't do a number os things.  Kept poo pooing what could be done.  He also said he couldn't see the uneven mounding of dirt.  His boss kept interrupting him saying we can fix it.  He even said if he did the work, that the dirt would runoff into the street. But it was  obvious he doesn't see the issue, doesn't know how to fix the issue.  And he will only make a bigger mess if he came out with machinery to do the work.

And I didn't keep changing my mind on how to fix it.  Everything that was brought up he poo pooed.

and I requested all these things in several emails to them prior to them coming out.

They are NOT landscapers, they only dig holes and run tubing under ground.

This is the company that did the work and damaged the lawns.  Take responsibility for what you did.  Passing it off to **** conglomerate means nothing will be done.

Thayer Communication has continued to egregiously overstep the easement that they've been to install underground fiber optic lines for ****. There have been numerous serious issues (including multiple water and gas lines that have been hit by their crews) over the past eight months. Thayer and their subcontractors have trespassed and caused damage to many yards (including my own) in the neighborhood. Over twenty-five attempts have been made by various impacted home owners that have yielded unmet promises of landscape restoration. There are numerous photos of the damage inflicted in addition to videos asking subcontractors of Thayer to remove their equipment off of private property. In addition, trash has overtaken the common areas of the neighborhood as well as cars/trucks are parked overnight (in front of fire hydrants, multiple pictures will show this as well). *** **** of Pataskala has been the team lead and has made many of the promises of restoration. A class-action lawsuit against Thayer and *** personally is expected to be filed.

We just completed work on this project and are currently in the process of doing all restoration.  He is one of the homes that is included on our restoration list.  Restoration is scheduled to be completed by the end of next week 5/27 weather permitting.

We have had several weather delays on this project.  Water and gas lines have been hit, and handled accordingly with 811 and the utility companies.
