Back story I brought a 04 Silverado cluster out to **** to fix in march 2020. Drove from ********* to Columbus and **** diagnosed it and was able to fix it for $165.00. We did not have the truck with us to verify cluster was working. **** assured me if there was any issues, he would make it right as he seemed like a person that would stand behind his work. Made it back to ********* same day and installed new cluster which had several issues, which lights would still go out, called him immediately to where he told me to ship it back and he would fix it. Shipped the next day, he called me up on receiving a couple days later to where he said the dash was faulty and he would have to sell me another dash that was rebuilt, to which I agreed and paid an additional $100.00 for the new dash. We agreed that he would put correct mileage on truck so there wouldnt be any issues if I were to ever sell it. Cluster was received and still issues with fuel gauge and incorrect mileage. I called **** and explained to him that I would ship it back at my cost so he could fix mileage so it was correct. His reply: I can put mileage on it, ship it back to me or you can bring the truck down. I apologize for the rotten terrible service and me selling you a cluster at cost and me eating the shipping and everything else, so talk about terrible scenario, I totally agree with you.Apparently you think you have the right to talk down to people, Im not the one, Im not exaggerating Im not talking sarcastic Im a real straight m*********** and youll get to know that once you meet me in person, pick your date and your time and Ill be here.This is the person you are dealing with. I wish there was there was a spot to put my response as I told him that I wanted to get my dash fixed, assuming text was taken out of context. He promptly blocked me. Bottom line is, his warranty is on his terms, will threaten you, scam you if he feels like he will be simply asked about an issue.
