  My mother ,***** ******* bought a custom built home from Rona Homes Aug 2023 for $167,000. In Nov 2023 the Roof started Leaking, The front door is not sealed right you can see all around it, There is not chaulking behind the kitchen sink, There was No hot water for about a week. The fire place is propane & has never been hooked up. The carpet is coming up in one of the bedrooms. There is no heat coming out of the Master Bedroom & Bathroom registers. No shower tracks in the Master bathroom shower, the doors up but there are not tracks. The main bathroom in the hall the toilet keeps running. Rona Homes gave her a scratch & dent frigerator freezer keeps icing up & ice falls out. The seal is bad. . The stove is not self cleaning she was promise a glass top self cleaning was given electric stove with coils & non self cleaning. Was promise quartz counter tops in kitchen received some kind of sticky sheet over wooden tops. Mom was promised a glass sliding door & did not get it. She has 2 windows where it was to be. She was promised a deck & did not get it & had to pay $15,000 to get a back deck & small front porch added. She had to paid for it out of her fire fund money. Her previous home was destroyed by fire. She lost everything. All of this is in her contract. A man named Paul was the inspector on the walk through. Got paid $10,000 and did not fix any of these items. Rona was to give her back $800 for the glass sliding door she did not receive. She has not gotten that back yet. She needs that reimbursed in a check form to her.

  Rona has been in regular communication with her and her family.  Many many communications, many phone calls, many texts, many emails.  Rona and it's contractors have showed up and serviced her home many many many times, trying to have a satisfied customer.   Many of these items were NOT included in her purchase and this has been explained to her multiple times.  Also, some of these claims are simply not correct. 

  GM has been out of town.  Rona will respond to her list in the next few business days.

  I have ask them to fix all the issuses and they was tobring me a front door cause you can see outside all the way around it. No heat in the master b edroom and bathroom . I haveNo calking behind the kithchen sink, I have a roof leaking.

  Rona Homes was on site today.  Front door and door frame was replaced. (please note Rona just recently received this part from the Factory. THIS WAS A FACTORY WARRANTY ISSUE) .  Rona caulked countertop kitchen.  There was no roof leak.  Rona and its contractors have been to the job site many times to inspect their roof.  Rona's contractor installed at no charge a metal cap ridge at the customers request.  Thus the customer has received a free METAL  RIDGE on the roof over the existing cap ridge.

  Rona also secured battens, tightened sink faucet, secured carpet, etc etc. 

  The customer said she was very happy and that this was the best service she's received on her home.  

  Rona Homes considers this case closed.
