I purchased a side of beef from Frobose in March of 2024. I picked the side of beef up in April. When I cooked some of the hamburger I noticed white pieces of arteries/gristle/veins or some other inedible chunks in the meat. They were a rubbery and could not be chewed up. 1 or 2 little pieces wouldn't have been a big deal, but I quit picking them out when I got to 10. I cooked more hamburger and every package had these inedible pieces. Some as large as 3/8". I called Frobose to explain what I found in the hamburger and they wanted me to bring some of the meat in to look at. I took 3 packages back along with a baggie of the inedible pieces from the packages I cooked. They said it was gristle and if I didn't want the meat to bring it back. We took the hamburger back and were told if we wanted our money back we had to return the entire side of beef. We told them we only wanted to return the hamburger. The foul man there said if we wanted a refund we had to return the entire side of beef. My husband told him to just keep the money, donate the hamburger to charity and give back our credit card. The man said he was keeping our credit card until we brought all the meat back. My husband said he wanted his property back or he would call the police. As he turned around the man threw the credit card on the floor and told my husband he was a "piece of ****". When my husband walked away the man said "your wife is a piece of **** too". The hamburger we received was not the same quality that I had purchased from them before. We tried to be polite and discreet about the poor quality of the hamburger. The man at the store was extremely rude and very unprofessional. He was trying to bait my husband into some kind of altercation. The man is clearly unstable with anger management problems. We left 154 pounds of hamburger with them on April 6th and 20th, 2024 that we were charged $4.19 per pound. We did not receive a refund.
