I was told that I would be charged an annual fee from Planet Fitness two months after I joined their gym. I joined on December 31st, 2023, and I was charged the fee on February 1st, 2024. That was not two months after I joined. When I called I asked to speak to a manager and she told me I should have received my contract in my Gmail. I checked while on the phone with her and I told her I never got the email. I checked the trash, spam, and my regular folder and I still had nothing. Meanwhile, she said she would pull it up on her computer and she put me on hold. When she came back she said to bear with her because the print was very small. She then read to me that my annual fee would come out two months after I joined. I was given no warning that It would be taken out earlier. So I canceled my membership with them right away.Business response

******** was sent a copy of her agreement to the email that she provided when she signed her membership agreement. She also called and spoke to a manager, after speaking to them, ******** told them that it was her fault for not remembering when the date was for her annual fee that she agreed too.
