I spent $225 to get a 4 door sedan car tinted with a windshield strip. I left my car with him and some woman for 5.5 hours. Upon picking my car up, I instantly noticed poor workmanship, defects and he had nothing but lies and excuses, claiming today was his birthday. He promised to fix the issues if "sitting in the sun" didn't resolve them. He claimed the AS1 line was an indicator for 2 different types of glass, tempered and non tempered because I asked him why he didn't stay above it like I asked, to stay within the legal perimeters. He proceeded to show me how his personal vehicles are all illegally past the ASI line and said the "law doesn't care." The cut out for the 3rd brake light looks crooked and sloppy. The glass was dirty as he didn't even take out 2×10mm nuts and remove the 3rd brake light to clean the glass. Blotches in the lower right corner of the back window are still there after 24 hours in a 90 degree day of direct sunlight. Sitting in the sun didn't resolve any issues. Upon paying him, he promptly got in his truck and drove away. I thought he was going to get me a receipt for the warranty. I promptly texted him stating that I forgot to get a receipt and got no response. I decided to wait until the next day to resolve the issues since he claimed "it was his birthday." (August 26th) The next day I texted him with pictures of the issues. He rudely responded "OK so you have 2 choices 1 you can let it dry out in the sun like I said to or 2 bring the car back and I'll remove the Tint and refund you money." By this point, I didn't trust a word he said or letting him touch my car again. Upon asking several times for a receipt, he never once responded. I just wanted to give him the chance to resolve the issues. He made me regret supporting small business and I realized that I should have gone to a big company like Ziebart to avoid such issues. To top it off he suddenly grew a fondness for the law when he threatened to have me arrested if I go there again.
