I signed up for this gym over a decade ago when it was named something different for a short stint I did in Ohio. They’ve been charging my card every month since and I haven’t used their gym in probably 9 years or more. It was my fault not catching the charges as they had changed names and the billing statement charge and I never noticed it from my other memberships and what not. However, I realized it when I recently switched banks and they contacted me about unsuccessful bill payment. I explained that I don’t even live remotely close to the gym and I was only using it for a very short time. I wasn’t asking for a refund for the past decade of membership fees for a gym I hadn’t used in a decade but I did ask them to cancel the membership. I got the good ole response from any sketchy business practice, “You have to write a letter with your intent to cancel and send it to our address in the mail.” Well it’s been a couple of months since I’ve sent the letter and I just got a notification that they are sending me to collections for the last several months of unpaid fees, To a gym, That I haven’t even stepped foot in in over a decade. I guess they never got my letter. Just cancel my account. That’s all I’m asking. Quit making these upsurd cancellation policies just to milk someone for some more money. I’ve already paid every month for the last tens years for something I haven’t even used. I’m not asking for that in refund, just cancel my membership and stop bothering me. Not that hard.

        ****** ********** was on a month-to-month membership

We have been in business with the same name since 1993

See attached agreement. (Page 1) All cancellations must be in writing, see Opened ended month to month agreements

On 4/20/2023 his payment came back insufficient funds. See attached (*page 2

We use ASF payment solutions. When this happens, ASF has automated e mails and texts that will go out to the member. (See Page 3

After the account get so far behind, what ASF does is they stop all efforts to collect the funds and sent it back To the club as a return, This happened on 8/1/2023 see (page 4

When this happens, we reach out to the members and see if they want to start over on a month to month basis

Please ask ****** ********** to take down the false statement he made on the google review. This could be very damaging to the club. See attached (page 5
