3 shaker style pocket doors ordered in May 2021, delivered in July 2021, installed October, 2021. The shaker doors had glue everywhere including on the glass. When we physically spoke with an IWP representative we were told we could try scraping the glue off, but really that's just how shaker doors are. We looked to resolve this without having to replace the doors. We had the glue scraped off which in turn left scratch marks. We contacted IWP with the expectation they would assist in resolving the issue either by replacing the doors or by providing a solution such as adding trimming to cover the glue and scratches. We were informed that no one from their company talked to my husband about this issue and it was basically our problem. IWP should have provided a solution to the issue or replace the doors which had glue all over the glass.Business response

Interior Wood Products is a distributor of architectural millwork. Our product is not finished (i.e. painted or stained) and not installed. Industry standards are that the builder or end user contract professional finishers and installers for the product Interior Wood Products provides.
Materials were delivered to ***** ****** ** **** ********* ***** ********* ** ***** on June 17, 2021.
On November 22, 2021 (over 5 months after product was delivered) ***** ****** contacted Interior Wood Products with notification that the product had been damaged during finishing / painting preparation.
On November 23, 2021 Interior Wood Products ownership called ***** ****** in order to obtain additional information about the damage that occurred during finishing. A voice mail was left requesting a return call.
On November 24, 2021 ***** ****** returned call. Interior Wood Products offered to supply at no charge any additional wood / trim that the finisher or installer would need to remedy (cover) the damage. Adding additional trim to the door to cover the damage was suggested to ***** ****** by finisher / installer. ***** ****** stated that she would contact Interior Wood Products with specifications needed for trim that would be used to cover / resolve damage.
As of 11.00am December 2, 2021 Interior Wood Products has not heard back from ***** ******.
