We hired this company to bump out our driveway to accommodate our camper. We measured out the area and received an estimate of $3000. We agreed to the price and set a date for service. The company rescheduled twice before actually coming out. The driveway looked great upon completion and they were paid the full amount by check in mid May. We were told to let it cure for 72 hours before driving over it. We waited two weeks before anything was driven over the area. Once we did start using it, the asphalt began to move and buckle. It had not cured properly. We contacted the company numerous times asking them to come out and look at it so we could get it resolved. We were promised visits multiple times with no one coming out until we threatened to seek action from the BBB. They finally sent someone out, the son of the owner who had been responsible for the job, and he promised they would make it right. He stated “even if we have to pull the whole thing up and start over, we want to make sure you are happy.” He stated he had never seen a driveway do that before and wasn’t sure what was going on with it. He told us his mom (this is a family run business) would call and get us on the schedule within the next two weeks. We never heard back so I called numerous times again and left messages with no call backs. I was finally able to get ahold of them and the mom said she would call back and never did. My final contact with them was on Thursday July 28 when I left a message stating “If you don’t call me back with a date by the end of business tomorrow, I will be contacting the BBB.” I received no response back, so we are now asking for your help to resolve this issue. The driveway looks horrible and is still soft after almost three months. We would like our money back at this point so we are able to get it done properly by another company. We have given this company too many chances to make it right and they refuse to work with us on it.Business response
