      This complaint is in regards to a retail online website that fraudulently charged me. I was charged $5.80 for a product I did not order nor receive on my Paypal debit on October 29, 2022. I filled a dispute Paypal reversed it. Then the following day i was charged $82.45 on November 2, 2022. I then filled another dispute with Paypal. The company never responded to Paypal so after a month+ Paypal closed the dispute on December 20, 2022. Today I was finally able to get a hold of someone at the merchants phone number. On the previous tries the phone number didn't work. I was able to get them to agree to a 50% refund. But I wasn't having it. I wanted the full refund. After threatening court and the police they agreed too 100% refund. When she was about to give the refund they saw the Paypal dispute, she said she could not refund it. I had to call Paypal back and open an appeal. Then I called the merchant back for proof of me being in the Gadget club in the first place and that it was cancelled. They refused me any proof...nothing but a fake cancellation #. Which is ******. Then I threatened police or court action and she hung up on me. I have no documents regarding any authorized or unauthorized transactions or membership to any clubs with this company. Both times speaking to customer service from the merchant they told me they don't do outgoing calls or emails. I asked for the billing department and the supposed supervisor said that i reached the department and they don't do anything outgoing. I don't know what you bthe BBB could do but would love any help i can get to getting this refund and an official complaint. I am on Disability and this charge is a real hardship. It happens to be 10% of my monthly income. This business needs to stop this illegal business practice. Thank You for any help
