On Thursday, June 22, 2023 I phone Lidia T. of Lbthomp Cleaning and Sanitation after seeing her advertisement on the ********* ********* app. I checked her reviews on ****** and ****. The reviews were good and she claimed to be "Licensed and Bonded" so I called and she agreed to this request: "I'm looking for cleaning on the main floor which is: 2 bds and 1 bth, kitchen, living rm, small hallway and carpeted stair case. There will always be someone at home during cleaning. 1000 sq ft home. Main focus will be greasy upper cabinets and walls. small space." I paid $300.00 for "Deep Cleaning Service"! I asked how long this would take. She said she needs to see the job. Mistake #1 We never clarified time. She arrived. I showed her what I wanted. Grease removed from high cabinets and high wall spaces above cabinets that I can't reach. She closed the kitchen door, chatted on the phone and I believe proceeded to clean. Mistake #2 My son and I smelled some strong chemicals but trusted she knew what she was doing. After an hour went by I checked on her and she seemed to be making headway. Another hour went by and she finally came out and started on the bathroom. She sped through that and barely touched the rest of the house. Lidia seemed to be rushing at this point. Putting her things away. I found issues with what she did in in bathroom. Reminded her of a bedroom she hadn't touched and ceiling fans. Mistake #3 I felt rushed!!! I didn't get a receipt, paid her $300, without checking the kitchen. Letting her off on the rest of the house because the grease and kitchen were my main concerns. After she left I saw white specks on the oven door knob. Graphie finish damage! Wood finish and stain scrubbed off of the upper cabinet doors and turning blackened. I called her immediately and her response, "Ouch....I'm so sorry they dried like that" She later half heartedly apologized but never tried to fix the problem. I asked for partial reimbursement of $100. Nothing, Ghost
