On January 27, 2024 I found large ruts/tire tracks left in my grass on the area between the sidewalk and the curb--the part that belongs to ******. The damage may have occurred a day earlier; I did not go out on Friday the 26th. My neighbor told me they had a car towed from in front of their house and the tow truck drove over my lawn and left deep tire tracks. The tracks do begin on their grass. The ruts in front of my house are so deep, that soil spilled into the street. I was able to pull some of it back with a rake and shovel. My neighbor didn't volunteer the information. I contacted the ****** Police officer who goes to our block watch meetings and looks into these matters. He gave me Shane's Towing phone number after talking to my neighbors. I called ************, which is with a Northwood address. First I spoke with *****, then when I called again I spoke with a man, Shane? He sounded defensive and dismissive and let me understand that he thought it must not be very serious because I had waited two weeks. I told him that it took me about two weeks to get his phone number from the police. I have waited about two more weeks and haven't heard anything from him, so I would like to file a complaint against this company that damages uninvolved people's property, and then doesn't do anything to repair the damage. If you would like photos, I can mail prints of those. Please call me if you do. I don't know how to transfer those from my phone to this laptop. I reported this situation to Engage ****** on 1/31/24 and someone from the city was here to take pictures of it, so this is with their records, also.
