      When I was getting a refill, the delivery driver mentioned about installing a tank monitor and that they would see when I needed a refill so I don't have to call them.I told the driver that would be great, so she installed one on the tank. Then, in January, I ran out of propane. It took a couple of days for them to deliver, and I was told the monitor wasn't connecting to the network, but they fixed it. Then in April I ran out again so I then went to another company. I called on April 30th to have the tank removed and was told they would be out to get it. I called again on June 24th and was told they would be out to get it this week. But it is still sitting in my yard 2 months later.

      The house I bought was all electric. I had a new furnace installed with propane heat as the backup. I spoke with several propane suppliers and decided on Salem Propane. I cant saw enough good things about the service, install, pricing, and every employee I had contact with was a positive experience. ***** the owner was fantastic. Very informative and helpful. ****** at the front desk always polite and professional and ***** who set the tank, trenched and installed the the gas line. Very knowledgeable, explained everything, and very conscientious about the lawn and clean up. They showed up when they said they would. Follow *** from ***** to make sure everything was right. The pricing was low the customer service was high! I highly recommend. Salem Propane has a customer for life! Id rate them 10 stars.

      On Friday, January 29, 2021, Salem Propane attempted to deliver a propane delivery to our home. The driver backed partway down back our drive and walked the driveway and said that the down slope was too icy and she was concerned about getting stuck. She said it was supposed to warm up end of the following week and it would be better to wait until then and we agreed.On Sunday, January 31, 2021, there was heavy snowstorm.On Monday, February 1, 2021, I arrived home at 11am to find a Salem Propane Truck 3-4 feet off the driveway with our new 20 x 30 tarp we had covering the mulch tangled around the wheel and drive shaft. The truck had gone nose first down the hill, filled the propane tank and attempted to back up back up the hill. The delivery driver claimed he has 35 years of experience. After trying to pull the truck out with my F250, Salem Propane had to dispatch a boom truck. I used my come-a-long to secure the truck from sliding. When the boom truck arrived, it also went sideways into my yard. Eventually with my F250 helping the boom truck pull, we got the truck back on the driveway. In all there was a $107 tarp ruined and 12 man hours un-billable, as I am self employed and have employees. When I spoke with Salem Propane I was given a $100 credit for the tarp. I called back numerous times regarding the yard but they refused to let me speak to a manager each time. The did send a man out who took 10 minutes to stamp down the ruts with his feet. I ended up having another 2 hours plus seed, fertilizer and straw to fix my yard. No one would ever call us back to discuss the damage but we got numerous calls to collect the money, and eventually were turned over to collections by them. We promptly paid the **** but feel it is was handled so poorly we wished to report it.
