On 11/22/21 my family paid $6,000 to rent the Diamond Lake Event Barn for the day for my wedding. Due to personal reasons we ended up canceling the reservation 6 months before the wedding. We agreed if a cancellation were to happen the business would keep the $2,000 deposit. However, Jessica the owner decided to keep $4,000 and only give us $2,000 back which is a breach of our contract. Since then, the business will no longer contact us and has ignored by attempts to reach out again about a refund before going this route. I have photos of the transactions, the contract and more showing the agreement and the violation. I have more things not listed in the pictures I can get for proof later on.Business response
