            I hired Liberatore Landscape to remove a tree and grind the stump. They removed the tree in August 2021. At the time of contracting, I don’t recall that they mentioned there was an extra charge to remove the debris from grinding. I had no idea that there was even a possibility that the debris would not be removed. They ground the stump in June 2020. (Yes, nine months later.) They left a mountain of debris. When asked about it, they told me it was my fault because I elected not to have the debris removed. I found out after starting work with him, that the owner doesn’t have his own crew or equipment, resulting in untrained workers standing around not doing much. The people who cut down the tree left a huge mess. I had to request cleanup at least two times. He also subbed out the stump grinding. Who ever made that mess showed up and left my house without letting me know they were there or giving me an opportunity to evaluate the work. When pressed on the issue, the owner became rude and told me he was done with this job. For these reasons, I wouldn’t recommend this contractor.

            Avoid this business. I hired them to plow our driveway (driveway only), for a surprise early season snow storm. They quoted me a price over the phone, that was high, but it had been a heavy snow and it was a high demand situation so I accepted that they would do the job at that agreed upon high price. Being as it was a high demand storm, they came towards the end of the day which was understandable. The issue was that when they arrived, they gave me an even HIGHER PRICE! Significantly higher. When I asked them to honor their quote, they were rude and told me the higher price was the only price they would do the job for. I was stuck as it was then end of the day and I needed plowing done so I reluctantly agreed. In a few minutes they were done and I was out a chunk of money. I hope others read this and stay far away from this price gouging business. They took advantage of a storm and did not honer their own high quote. Very unethical.

            An over the phone estimate is just an approximate estimate which is provided by our office manager who cant actually see the driveway to be serviced.. An accurate estimate was supplied by our service provider when they arrived. We consider our charge of $81.00( including sales tax) more than reasonable for the situation We do not consider it price gouging). We provided a one time service to a client who was not under contract. We bailed you out in the middle of a snowstorm for 81.00 and now your complaining with a public review. I'd recommend snow plow contractors avoid you.
