5/21/24 We were referred to Daryl ******* to fix our pool skimmer line. Daryl came out ran a pressure test, and realized our pool line did have a leak. He returned on 5/26/24, and attempted to repair the leak, but did not. We paid him despite knowing there was still an issue as we saw air in the line, as Daryl stated he would return to redo the pressure test. After we paid him, he then stopped responding to all texts and phone calls. He left a hole in our yard and never came back. We want our money back as he did not fix the leak and left our yard a mess after paying him $335.00. I have copied of the cashed checks, this guy is a con!Business response

The customer received services for monies paid. Customer signed a work order stating paid in full. Their pool needed more work. We couldn't come back the day she wanted us to because we are 70 miles away. We had every intention of fixing the hole but she did not give us time.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. Since having Dary to our house, we have had two other pool contractors advise the work that Daryl ******* completed; installing a boot on a pool line is not going to fix a leak and was never going to work. The only acceptable response is all money paid to Daryl refunded as he did not fix the issue and when he saw that he did not fix the issue as their was obvious air in the line, he claimed to not have the necessary equipment to test the pressure on the line, bolted and never returned. He stopped answering our texts and calls. We asked him multiple times if he was going to return and he did not respond UNTIL we logged a complaint with the BBB.We already had to pay another pool contractor for the repair. The only acceptable response is to refund all our money as he did not fix the issue and stopped responding to our texts and calls, until filing a complaint.
