I ordered an inflatable boat from Boatersland Marine. I contacted Boatersland Marine on 12/3/21 to inquire on a tracking number. On that date I spoke with William Z****. He noted on our call that day that the boat "was non-returnable once it was ever put on the water. We have customers that take the boat out joy riding and then try to return." On Christmas, my son opened his gift and we assembled the boat and determined we were not strong enough to deal with this heavy inflatable boat. I called Boatersland Marine on 12/27/2021 and spoke with William Z**** again. I told him how we assembled the boat but it would not work for us. He said "We will send return instructions to your email address since you are in the 30 day refund period". I then received an email from Boatersland Marine on 12/28/2021 stating "I spoke to my returns manager to try and make an exception, but was unsuccessful. Seeing that this item was already assembled, we cannot take it back since we do not sell used items. William did make notes in here about a month ago that these items are non-returnable unless they are defective." William NEVER informed me that the item was non-returnable. He informed me that the item was non-returnable if ever put in the water, which it never was. Thus, I was lied to twice by Boatersland Marine. 1-Item can be returned if not put in water 2-I would received return instructions since in the 30 day return period.
