We contracted with A&W Roofing and Restoration in December of 2019 to replace our roof, including a 10 year workmanship warranty through A&W Roofing. We paid a total of $19,084.69 for the work done. In August of 2023 our home was inspected by an inspector for a potential buyer, and a number of defects were identified. We contacted the owner, Arthur, and he came out and agreed to do the warranty work and correct a couple other items within two weeks. Despite numerous calls to, and messages left for ****** since then, A&W has refused to honor its workmanship warranty.Business response

Hello ****** ****** here. I apologize about the delay. We do indeed honor our warranties. The inspection report in which we have was being picky and we agreed in that. We are to recall some mail heads. We have just now ended roofing season and entered our repair season as we slow down we can do these things as well as the additonal work in your scope from your inspector. I will reach out today to get it on schedule.

We got a new roof with this company in June 2021. While there were some issues with this company, after some time, they eventually resolved them. Most recently, we discovered a leak in the house. They came, but only calked over the area. We were told that to do this right, they should remove the tuck pointing and shingles in the area and calk underneath before installing. We asked that this work be done correctly, and a week later, we noticed that this area was getting worse. After a few weeks passed, the owner, Arthur, stated he would come today, Friday, July 29. I had to take vacation time for this during an extremely busy time at work, and waited all day for them to come. I texted and called (voicemail was full), asking when they would come. No one got back to me. I did not step a foot outside the house the entire day for fear of missing them. They did not show up.Business response
